APPLICATIONS IN THE CONSERVATION AREAS

Application No: HH/340060/17 Application Type: Full Planning Permission Applicant: Ms Ademniac Location: 24 Church Fields, , OL3 5AB Proposal: 1) Erection of a single storey side extension 2) Associated works Case Officer: Hannah Lucitt

Recommendation: REFUSE The building is in the Dobcross Conservation Area and is adjacent to the Grade II Listed mid 18th century Manor House. The proposed extension would obscure the south-east gable of the Manor House and would therefore have a negative effect on the setting of this historic building.

Recommendation: APPROVE subject to the door being replaced by a panelled door with a fan light above as in the building when last purchased. The replacement of the sliding sash windows on the front of the building is welcomed, and it is important that the glazing bars and window frames are of the original dimensions.
