In the first case, a record gift and subsequent matching funds will be devoted exclusively to scholarships for students with demonstrated financial need. In the second, a federal grant is supporting the Enhanced Academic Support Initiatives—a set of six interrelated programs designed to provide the resources that will help students successfully transition to college life and make the most of Lawrence’s rigorous academic experience.
