Projektziel und Leistungen Die Studie erarbeitet Grundlagen für die Erhaltung besonders gefährdeter Nachtfalterarten („Macro- Heterocera“) in Oberösterreich. Sie soll als Basis für die Planung zukünftiger Freilanderhebungen und umsetzungsorientierter Folgeprojekte dienen. In Zusammenarbeit mit dem Auftraggeber werden in einem zweistufigen Verfahren Nachtfalterarten ausgewählt, deren aktuelle Situation in Oberösterreich aufgrund der verfügbarer Funddaten und unter Berücksichtigung der Roten Listen als besonders kritisch anzusehen ist. In der ersten Auswahlstufe bilden die Daten der Zobodat (Tier- und Pflanzengeografische Datenbank Österreichs, Linz) die wichtigste Quelle, in der zweiten Stufe wird die Kenntnis einer engeren Auswahl von Arten durch eine erweiterte Literaturrecherche, Expertenbefragungen und mit Hilfe weiterer Quellen vertieft. Für die engere Auwahl der Arten stehen folgende Ziele im Mittelpunkt: Klärung der naturräumlichen und vertikalen Verbreitung in Oberösterreich unter Berücksichtigung der Aktualität (vor/nach 1980) und Glaubwürdigkeit der Meldungen Abschätzung der Gefährdungsursachen Beschreibung geeigneter Erfassungsmethoden Formulierung von Maßnahmen zur Erhaltung der Populationen Empfehlungen für Kartierungsgebiete in Text und Karten auf Basis der Funde besonders nach 1980 sowie der geeigneten Lebensräume unter Berücksichtigung der Biotopkartierung und der Landschaftserhebung Oberösterreichs Geliefert werden neben dem Endbericht die Rohdaten in Form von Excel-Tabellen und GIS-Dateien (siehe Kap. 8). 2. Auswahl der Arten Unter „Nachtfalter“, traditionell als „Macro-Heterocera“ bezeichnet, fallen alle Schmetterlingsarten mit Ausnahme der Tagfalter (Papilionoidea) und der sogenannten „Kleinschmetterlinge“ (Microlepidoptera oder „Micro-Heterocera“). Für Österreich sind ca. 4.070 Schmetterlingsarten gemeldet (HUEMER 2013), für Oberösterreich ca. 2.800 (davon für OÖ 1.500 Kleinschmetterlinge). Von den 1.300 oberösterreichischen Großschmetterlingsarten entfallen rund 170 auf die Tagfalter, der Rest sind die im Projekt zu behandelnden „Nachtfalter“ (ca. 1.130 Arten). Studies on nocturnal Lepidoptera were carried out on the Laukėnai raised bog and the adjacent wet forest in 2001. Species composition and abundance were evaluated and compared. The species richness was much higher in the forest than at the bog. The core of each lepidopteran community was composed of 22 species with an abundance of higher than 1.0% of the total catch. Tyrpho- philous Hypenodes humidalis (22.0% of all individuals) and Nola aerugula (13.0%) were the dominant species in the raised bog community, while tyrphoneutral Pelosia muscerda (13.6%) and Eilema griseola (8.3%) were the most abundant species at the forest site. Five tyrphobiotic and nine tyrphophilous species made up 43.4% of the total catch on the bog, and three and seven species, respectively, at the forest site, where they made up 9.2% of all individuals. 59% of lepidopteran species recorded on the bog and 36% at the forest site were represented by less than five individuals. The species compositions of these communities showed a weak similarity. Habitat preferences of the tyrphobiontic and tyrphophilous species and dispersal of some of the species between the habi- tats are discussed. INTRODUCTION (1996). Introduction This review covers the highlights from a wildlife-packed tour of La Cerdanya, in the Spanish Pyrenees, between 11th and 18th June 2013. This was the second collaboration between Iberian Wildlife Tours and Jeff Clarke Ecology for this particular location, albeit about a fortnight earlier than in 2011. All of the participants had previously enjoyed tours with Jeff and/or Teresa and made a positive contribution in winkling out the floral and faunal gems that helped to ensure a productive and memorable trip. The list, comprising 624 species in the families Lasiocampidae, Endromidae, Saturniidae, Sphingidae, Notodontidae, Noctuidae, Pantheidae, Lymantriidae, Nolidae and Arctiidae from the Southern Ural Mountains is presented. The material was collected during 1996–2001 in 10 different expeditions. Dichagyris lux Fibiger & K. The presence of an established colony of Lemonia dumi (Lin- naeus, 1761) in the vicinity of the Sierra de Guadarrama within the limits of the province of Segovia is confirmed by the observation and capture of four males and two females. Resum. Es confirma la presència d’una colònia de Lemonia dumi (Linnaeus, 1761) a les proximitats de la serra de Guadarrama, dins dels límits de la província de Segòvia, mitjançant l’observació i captura de quatre mascles i dues femelles. Resumen. Se confirma la presencia de una colonia de Lemonia dumi (Linnaeus, 1761) en las proximi- dades de la Sierra de Guadarrama, dentro de los límites de la provincia de Segovia, mediante el avista- miento y captura de cuatro machos y dos hembras. INTRODUCTION The fauna of noctuoid moths (the families Erebidae and Noctuidae) of Kazakhstan is still poorly studied. Only the fauna of West Kazakhstan has been studied satisfactorily (Gorbunov 2011). On the faunas of other parts of the country, only fragmentary data are published (Lederer, 1853; 1855; Aibasov & Zhdanko 1982; Hacker & Peks 1990; Lehmann et al. 1998; Benedek & Bálint 2009; 2013; Korb 2013). In contrast to the West Kazakhstan, the fauna of noctuid moths of East Kazakhstan was studied inadequately.
