The Northern League continues to show how Again, I commend you to check their games out, competitive it is with most results last weekend with a 1pm kick-off on a Sunday afternoon, as well ending as draws. That West Coast ended up worth the effort, and of course a little bit of support on the wrong side of a resurgent North Shore does go a long way! Unfortunately, they are away to last weekend will, I am sure, only further work to Northland on the 11th, so we wish them all the best make todays challenge even more competitive on their travels, even though there will be a battle for our lads. West Coast Rangers have most definitley improved under Albert and have picked up a couple of great wins recently. Every game has a final feeling to it. We’re desperate for the points today and whilst we’re on a 6 game unbeaten run, we’ve only got 1 win and 3 draws in the 4 league games in that run. We had a great cup win against Auckland United and have earnt a great draw at home to Auckland City. It should be a great day with another huge crowd at Shepherds Park. I can almost guarantee that there won’t be a bigger crowd this season ... We earnt a point at Hamilton last week down at Porritt, although probably a touch fortunate in the end. Happy to see Sanni Issa scoring his first goal for the club. The club are in a great spot with so many good youngsters coming through whilst our first team squad of 24 players is made up of 14 x U20s players. The development team players are really knocking at the door to get in the first team squad now and 90% of this squad are U18 . Finally congrats to Zak Edwards, Curtis Hughes, Sam McIntosh and Everton O’Leary for there inclusion in the NZ U20s training squad . Also congratulations to Alex Greive who has been training with the NZ U23 Olympics team.
