Supported By : On the eve of Shri Rambhau Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini Mhalgi’s birth anniversary (9th July), every year RMP organizes “Rambhau Mhalgi Rambhau Mhalgi Memorial Lecture”. In the Memorial Lecture past, several leaders from various walks of life have come to deliver this lecture. This year Shri Amit Shah, President Bharatiya Janata Party would be the speaker of the Lecture to be delivered on July 8th, 2018 at Pune. RMP was set up as a memorial of late Sh. Rambhau Mhalgi who was a member of Lok Sabha in 1977 and 1980 and was a strong votary of the philosophy that Elected Representatives of the country should regularly undergo training and capacity building in order to strengthen the democracy and its processes. Arya Chanakya Essay Competition Kautilya as we are aware, is one of the very few personalities who is respected and revered for his intellectual capabilities not only by Indian but also the western Scholars. He was well versed in commerce, warfare, Politics, Economics and Vedas. Kautilya is credited for writing few impressive works. Arthshastra and Neetishastra which is also known as Chanakya Niti are two of the seminal works of Kautilya. He had a grand vision of building an empire encompassing the whole of Indian-subcontinent, prosperous (freedom from wants), secure against foreign threats, crime-free (freedom from fear), internally stable, and based on secular virtues. Additionally, Kautilya’s Arthashastra has emerged as a manual on promoting Yogakshema - the peaceful enjoyment of prosperity- of all the people. In order to engage the youngsters with Chanakya's thoughts and philosophy, RMP is organising an “ESSAY COMPETITION”. “Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini invites youngsters to come forward and participate in this competition” 2 Chanakya on the concept of Nation-building Y 2 Chanakya as a Management Guru ESSA 2 Chanakya and his concept of Yogakshema COMPETITION (Concept of Public Welfare) Themes The essay could be in Marathi, Hindi or English Who can participate? Youngsters within the age group of between 16-30 can apply. One author may submit one essay only.
