Q1. What is InterCall Mobile Assistant? The InterCall Mobile Assistant is a phone based application that enables you to join an InterCall Reservation-less Audio Conference with a single button from your mobile phone.

What phones are currently supported by the Mobile 000 800 650 1158 Assistant application? +61 2 8295 9000 The currently supported phones are: Japan Windows Mobile 5 phones - The Sprint 6700 and 6700, Cingular 8125, T- 0120 941 635 Mobile MDA phones +852 3073 0418 Windows Mobile 5 - The Motorola Q and Samsung Blackjack The Blackberry 72xx, 75xx and 8700 class phones from any carrier. New Zealand 0800 443 589 When selecting your phone from the list of available phones, especially the Blackberry +61 2 8295 9000 series of phones, select the closest phone to the type that you have - i.e. if you have the 8730 phone, select the 8700g phone from the list. The difference in the series class of Singapore phones is normally the carrier that is providing the phone, a different colour or a 1800 468 2255 slightly different set of features. None of these differences should impact the main +65 6415 3698 application from operating on the specified phone though. During the download process, the system will select the most appropriate version of the application for your particular phone.

Q3. What are the system requirements for InterCall Mobile Assistant?

The InterCall Mobile Assistant currently works with: Windows Mobile 5 phone (6700 class phone from Sprint or Verizon) RIM Blackberry 71xx, 72xx and 8xxx series phones from any carrier. The Motorola Q phone support is being added soon. Support for the Palm Treo 600,650 and 700 phones is expected soon as well.

Q4. How do I install the InterCall Mobile Assistant?

For Windows Mobile 5 users: * Notice - you MUST have ActiveSync installed and operational between your computer and phone before attempting the installation. If not, please see the user guide for your phone. 1 Download the installer application to your Windows computer from the http://www.intercallapac.com/mobile/index.html web site. 2 Run the downloaded application and accept the defaults settings for the installation. This will install two items to the phone - Microsoft Compact Framework 2.0 and the InterCall Mobile Assistant. 3 During the next Activesync session with your phone, the application will be installed. The phone will be restarted automatically to activate the installation. 4 On the phone, open the Programs and click the InterCall icon.

For BlackBerry users: From you phone, navigate to the download link provided within the Text message or within the email and click Get Link using the thumbwheel. The application will be downloaded and installed directly to your phone. DO NOT DOWNLOAD the application to your windows workstation as the client cannot be installed utilising the Blackberry desktop application.

Q5. When I try and register to receive the Mobile Assistant, I get an error message stating that there has been a security violation.

The Mobile Assistant download service does not allow users to re-register/Download for the service more than once in a 4 hour period due to security concerns. Additionally, the download link provided by the system can only be used once to successfully download the application.

Q6. How do I join a conference call as a leader/chairperson?

If you are the Leader, you can join the call as the leader simply by adding your Leader PIN in the additional field in the profile configuration. The InterCall Mobile Assistant will utilise that PIN to place you into the conference as the Leader, with a single click. Additionally, on the BlackBerry you will then have a Conference Control service available to you.

Q7. What mobile phone carriers will this work with?

The InterCall Mobile Assistant works on any carrier network that provides one of the supported phones.

Q8. How do I join an InterCall Audio Conference from my mobile phone?

Select the profile of the conference that you wish to join and click/select it. This can be via a touch screen, the 5-way navigation method available on most phones or the thumbwheel on the Blackberry. On the BlackBerry, a menu will appear, select Join Conference. Once select the application will initiate a dial out to the InterCall Audio Conferencing service.

Q9. How do I start the InterCall Mobile Assistant?

Windows Mobile 5 users: Once installed, an blue icon called 'InterCall' will be present in your Programs listing. Clicking on the icon will start the application. You may also assign one of the custom keys for your phone to the InterCall application, making it even simpler to access.

BlackBerry users: Once installed, a blue icon called "Mobile Assist" will be present on your home screen. Selecting the icon using the thumbwheel will start the application.

Q10. How do I create a new conference Profile?

From the main application screen, select New Profile from the left action button.

Q11. Can I edit a profile once I create it?

Yes. Click and hold on the profile button until a menu appears with Dial, Edit, Delete. Selecting Edit will display the same data entry screen as the original creation screen. Selecting Delete will delete the profile.

Q12. How do I delete the application from my phone? On Windows Mobile phones, select the Settings option under the Start Menu. Select the System tab at the bottom of the screen. Now select the Remove Programs icon. A listing of installed applications will be displayed. Select the InterCall Mobile Assist and press Remove to remove the application from your phone.
