2016 Oregon Track & Field UNIVERSITY OF OREGON ATHLETIC COMMUNICATIONS 2016 OREGON TRACK & FIELD Pac-12 Championships Seattle, Wash. May 14-15, 2016 This Week: Oregon track and field will begin its march through the championship 2016 OUTDOOR SCHEDULE portion of the season, beginning with the Pac-12 Championships at Husky Track March 18-19 Willie Williams Classic in Seattle, May 14-15. The two-day meet will begin Saturday at 10 a.m., and will March 19 Lewis & Clark Spring Break Open continue on Sunday beginning at 9 a.m. April 1-2 Stanford Invitational April 9 Pepsi Team Invitational Coverage: Live results for the Pac-12 championships will be available here. The April 14-16 Oregon Relays meet will debut on the Pac-12 Networks at 9 a.m. on Sunday, May 22. Mt. SAC Relays Pac-12 Championships History: The Oregon men’s team has now won the last nine April 28-30 The 122nd Penn Relays Pac-12 Championship team titles while the women have won seven in-a-row. April 29-30 OSU High Performance Meet May 1 Payton Jordan Invitational The men’s streak is the longest in Pac-12 history, topping the eight-year streak by May 6 Oregon Twilight USC from 1948-1955 as part of the Pacific Coast Conference and again in 1957-1963 May 7-8 Pac-12 Multis Championships during the transition from the PCC to the Pac-8. The streak of seven years for the May 14-15 Pac-12 Championships Women of Oregon is the second longest in conference history behind UCLA eight- May 26-28 NCAA West Preliminary Round year streak from 1997-2004. June 8-11 NCAA Outdoor Championships Storied Program: A men’s team championships would be the 17th in program history, tying UCLA for the most in conference history. Oregon is currently tied with OREGON ENTRIES USC at 16 Pac-12 Championships for second most. Men Women 100 Devon Allen 100 Danielle Barbian Pac-12 Combined Events Championships: The Ducks enter the weekend with Christian Sourapas Hannah Cunliffe the men’s team lead after Mitch Modin and Joe Delgado scored 14 points at the Travonn White Alisha Rowlee 200 Devon Allen Deajah Stevens combined events championships last weekend. Modin took second in the decathlon Marcus Chambers Jasmine Todd with 7,450 points while Delgado was third with 7,341. 400 Marcus Chambers Ariana Washington Cameron Stone 200 Danielle Barbian 800 Grant Grosvenor Hannah Cunliffe Defending Champions: Oregon returns seven defending Pac-12 individual 1,500 Chris Brewer Deajah Stevens Jeramy Elkaim Ariana Washington champions from 2015. Allen won four events at the Oregon Relays while running the fifth-fastest time in Oregon history in the 200 (20.68). Cunliffe was a member President: Michael Schill of the winning 4x100 team, won the 100 and finished second in the 200 at the Mt. SAC Athletic Director: Rob Mullens Relays. Cunliffe ran 10.99 in the 100 and 22.71 in the 200, both of which put her among Faculty Representative: Tim Gleeson Facility: Hayward Field (10,500), founded 1919 the top four in Oregon history. A senior distance runner for the Mustangs, Guerrero was named the Cal Poly Scholar- Athlete of the Year in 2012-2013 and boasts a 3.73 GPA. He has been involved with the Civil and Environmental Honors Society and has made the Dean’s List seven quarters while being named to the President’s Honors List.
