March 22 Baldy Castillo Invitational Iowa, for the 93rd Annual Drake Relays, Friday, April 26, and Saturday, April 27, Field-9:30 a.m., Running-6 p.m. while a group of Sun Devil distance runners make the trek to the great Pacific North- Sun Angel Stadium west for the Oregon Invitational in Eugene, Saturday, April 27. Following this week- March 23 Baldy Castillo Invitational end, the Sun Devils have just one meet remaining on their regular season schedule Field-11 a.m., Running-1 p.m. leading up to the Pac-10 and NCAA Championships, the annual double dual with Sun Angel Stadium Arizona and Northern Arizona, Saturday, May 4, in Tucson. March 30 Arizona State Invitational Field-10 a.m., Running-6 p.m. Sun Angel Stadium Oregon Invitational -- March 29-30 @ Stanford Invitational Eleven distance runners and senior sprinter Pete Lopez (200m) will compete at the Stanford, Calif. Oregon Invitational, hosted by the University of Oregon at historic Hayward Field in April 12 @ Mesa Classic Eugene, Saturday, April 27. Running events in the day session begin at 10 a.m. PT, Mesa, Ariz. while field events begin at 10:15 a.m. The twilight session gets underway at 3 p.m. April 13 Sun Angel Classic with field events, while running events begin at 5 p.m. Scheduled to compete in the Field-9:30 a.m., Running-4:30 p.m. Sun Angel Stadium men’s 800m, senior Brandon Strong headlines the ASU contingent. 2000 Pac-10 Cham- April 19 @ Pomona-Pitzer Invitational pion Jeremy Rasmussen is also slated to compete in the men’s 3000m steeplechase. ASU Track and Field National Rankings -- Coaching Staff For the second straight week, the ASU women are absent from the latest Trackwire 25 released April 23. ASU’s women opened the 2002 outdoor season ranked 25th and moved up to 21st (tie) in the April 9 poll.
