Two-time Olympian Makes her NBC Sports Debut as Analyst This Saturday

STAMFORD, Conn. – April 22, 2021 – NBC Sports today announced the 2021 USATF ‘Journey to Gold - Tokyo Outdoor Series’ broadcast schedule, beginning this Saturday, April 24 at 3 p.m. ET with live coverage of the Drake Relays and the Oregon Relays on NBCSN and Peacock.

Track and Field Pass content that had previously required an NBC Sports Gold subscription is available on Peacock. The Drake Relays, which were founded over 100 years ago, take place this Saturday in Des Moines, IA, open the coverage at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN and Peacock, followed by the Oregon Relays from the ’s recently renovated at 5 p.m. ET.

NBC Sports’ track and field coverage features five U.S.-based events between April 24 and August 21 (schedule below). The track and field schedule for the U.S. Olympic Trials and Tokyo Olympics will be announced in the coming weeks.

Kara Goucher, who competed in the 2008 and 2012 Olympics as a long-distance runner, will make her NBC Sports debut as an analyst at this weekend’s meets. Goucher joins host Paul Swangard and analysts four-time Olympic medalist , and four-time Olympic gold medalist Sanya Richards-Ross. Corey Robinson will report on the Drake Relays live from Des Moines and serves as the reporter for the Oregon Relays in Eugene.
