The student population is approximately 30,000 students and the university’s campus is approximately one square kilometer.
Alicante is an historic Mediterranean port located in Eastern Spain, and is one of the fastest-growing cities in Spain. The local economy is based upon the tourism of the beaches of Costa Blanca. Alicante enjoys a Mediterranean climate with mild temperatures throughout the year and little rain. The temperature In January ranges between 16.8°C and 6.2°C and in August between 30.6°C and 20.4°C. Location: By plane : Alicante Airport also known as L’Altet Airport is located 7 miles south of the city centre. Bus No C-6 connects the airport with the city centre. By train: RENFE runs a number of trains per day from Madrid and Barcelona. By coach: The bus station is on the western rim of the city centre and has regular links with Valencia, Barcelona and Granada.
