Ray’s favorite Saints this week… Oct 21: St Hilarion (291 -371) is the founder of Palestinian monasticism: St . Jerone wrote his biography only 20 years after his death. He lived in deserted region of Majuma in Gasa. Oct 22: St. John Paul II (1920 -2005) is celebrated on the anniversary of his papal inauguration: However, May 13, 1981 is the day the world remembers when Ali Agca shot the Pope four times; Agca was later forgiven while in prison, and later converted to Catholicism. Oct 23: St. John of Capistrano (1386 -1456). This married mayor of Perugia, while imprisoned during civil war, was overwhelmed by a vision of St. Francis. John got out of jail, dismissed his wife and became a ferocious Franciscan – thanks to the inspiration of Saints Colette and Bernardino. He became the inquisitor for Bohemia and Hungary. He was ahead of his time in his dealings with witches. He led the forces into battle in Belgrade, and successfully turned back the Turks. Hold up! Wait a minute ! St. Severinus Boethius (480 -524). Brilliant married Christian philosopher who was arrested, tortured and martyred in Pavia where his bones can be seen, directly under the relics of St. Augustine at San Pietro. Always pray for our seminarian Kyle Vance on this day; he is devoted to this saint. Oct 24: St. Antonio Maria Claret (1807 -1870). Spanish founder of the Claretian Order was greatly concerned with evangelization through the written word. Two hundred books and pamphlets are credited to his direct work alone. He later became Archbishop in Santiago, Cuba. He had a high degree of ecstasies, prophecy and healings. His tomb is near Barcelona. But wait! What about… Blessed Luigi Guanella (1842 -1915) leaves his native Como and heads to Turin to meet St. John Bosco. He founded a religious order himself with the twin role of healing and lifting up the sick and the poor. He was all about Catholic Social Justice and was nick named the “Garibaldi of Charity” by Pope Pius XI. Oct 27: Bd. Contardo Ferrini (1859 -1902). Brilliant scholar from theology to linguistics to geology, he studied from Pavia to Berlin. He is a modern patr on saint for students – nobody thirsts for knowledge – but all under the truth of our cre ator God. He died at the tender age of 43. Why would a Catholic tourist go there? Put simply, it is the Cathedral Church of Rome and since 312 AD has been the Episcopal Chair of the Popes as Bishops of Rome and where the Papacy was situated until 1377 when the Vatican became the Papal residence. St. John Lateran, however, remains the Pope’s Cathedral Church, not St. Peter’s Basilica. On the great façade, which was slightly damaged after a bomb exploded following John Paul II’s assertive preaching against the Mafia in Italy, you will find these words in Latin: THE MOST HOLY LATERAN CHURCH, MOTHER AND MISTRESS OF ALL CHURCHES OF THE CITY AND THE WORLD. It is not without significance for us Canadians that at the recent Canonization of St. Kateri Tekakwitha, St. John Lateran hosted a gathering for First Nations People at which the new documentary on her life, produced by Salt and Light Television, was premiered. St. Kateri was a simple and devout Mohawk woman who witnessed to the love of Jesus during the early years of contact between Europeans and the Indigenous Peoples of the New World—she is called the “Lily of the Mohawks.” This now leads me to my topic for this article.

The 48-page pastoral letter from the Conferencia Episcopal Boliviana (Bolivian Episcopal Conference, CEB), titled “Today I put Life and Death Before You,” said, “The drug trade, in its strategy of expansion and impunity, penetrates even state structures and law enforcement, both past and present, buying consciences.” It went on to define Bolivia as a producer of raw material and as manufacturer, country of transit, and consumer of cocaine.

  • And Feast of Pope Saint John Paul II (10-22-2027)
    Date of Creation (10-22-4004) and Feast of Pope Saint John Paul II (10-22-2027) You must understand that God talks in numbers. There are 10 numbers (0 thru 9/9 thru 0) [see East]. Now consider “0”, and take your calculator and add “01”. Your calculator said “1” because “0” to the left has no meaning. Take My Birth Day 03-02, you say 3-2 and it make sense, however, the “0” to the right has meaning, 03-02 {Minus} 03-20 = 18 Days [see South]. Also, there are no “0” Planets. For example, 1 = Mercury, 2 = Venus, 3 = Earth, and 4 = Mars. These are the “Terrestrial Planets”, having “Earth-like” composition. In mythology the God “Mars” is the husband, or consort, of the Goddess “Venus” [see below]. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terrestrial_planet http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mars_(mythology) Also, “0” is a measurement of time and is equal to a “Circle” (360o Degrees). https://www.reference.com/math/circle-360-degrees-98d9826802725ad6# For instance, today is 5-14, and within 1 Year [365 Days] you arrive back where you began 5-14 (the Earth revolved around the Sun in a “Circle”). The Date of Creation, see below, is 10-22-4004 BC – just by moving “0” [in addition to a “Circle” or “Holy Cross”, and seeing that 27 divided by 9 = 3 and 36 divided by 18 = 2 – see My Birth Day 3-2] you get: {4 = Mars or North} 0044 – 0404 = 360o 0404 – 4004 = 3600 4004 – 4040 = 0036 4040 – 4400 = 360o {3 = Earth or West} {1 = Mercury or East} 0033 – 0303 = 270o 0011 – 0101 = 90o 0303 – 3003 = 2700 0101 – 1001 = 900 3003 – 3030 = 0027 1001 – 1010 = 009 3030 – 3300 = 270o

FORUM 18 NEWS SERVICE, Oslo, Norway http://www.forum18.org/ The right to believe, to worship and witness The right to change one's belief or religion The right to join together and express one's belief This article was published by F18News on: 2 May 2005 BELARUS: Why no full TV broadcast of papal funeral and inauguration? By Geraldine Fagan, Forum 18 News Service <http://www.forum18.org> About 20 per cent of Belarus' population is Catholic, but less than an hour of the late Pope John Paul II's funeral mass and none of Pope Benedict XVI's inauguration was broadcast on state TV, Forum 18 News Service has found. The only Catholics able to view full live coverage of the funeral were those who can receive terrestrial Polish TV. Catholics were surprised by the small amount of TV coverage, but, "there was no outcry," a Catholic laywoman told Forum 18. That the inauguration of Pope Benedict XVI was not shown on Belarusian television, and given next to no coverage in news broadcasts, "offended us a bit as we wanted to hear about who the new pope was," a Belarusian Catholic journalist remarked to Forum 18. She did not believe the lack of television coverage to be the result of Belarusian state policy, a view supported by Ilona Urbanovich-Sauka of the independent Belarusian Association of Journalists. She told Forum 18 that her colleagues had encountered no evidence of a bar on broadcasting recent Vatican developments. Several believed that the minimal coverage simply reflected unprofessionalism. Although approximately 20 per cent of the Belarusian population belongs to the Catholic Church, less than an hour of the late Pope John Paul II's funeral mass and none of Pope Benedict XVI's inauguration was broadcast on the republic's state television, Forum 18 News Service has found.
