The Blue Mountains is one of ’s natural wonders. Stretching for over more than million hectares it is an inspiring mix of rainforest, canyons, tall forests and headlands, commencing less than 90 minutes from central . This familiarisation aims to update your product knowledge of the Blue Mountains region, and encourage you to see the region as more than just a day tour destination.

DAY ONE

Travel to where you will enjoy a short walk around the famous Blue Lake before lunch at .

Regarded as Australia’s most outstanding system with 11 spectacular show caves, pure underground rivers and amazing formations, Jenolan Caves is among the finest and oldest cave systems in the world.

Join the guided cave tour to The Lucas Cave, the most visited cave in the system which is home to the famous Broken Colum and the highest and widest chambers. Don’t miss a glimpse of the pure underground river.

Travel to Govetts Leap Lookout near Blackheath to take in the spectacular views of the and its steep canyons.

Visit the newly restored , an icnon luxury hotel overlooking the . The hotel’s Pavillion has a providores marketplace featuring “A Taste of the Blue Mountains”. Sample local food and wine, pick up a souvenir or learn about the hotel’s heritage.

Overnight: The Hydro Majestic, Blue Mountains DAY TWO

Visit and enjoy this world class attraction. Experience the Scenic Railway,the steepest in the world, the Scenic Walkway through pristine rainforest in the and back up on the Scenic Cableway. Enjoy a return trip on the Scenic Skyway with its breathtaking views of and the Three Sisters.

Experience an Aboriginal dance performance at Waradah Aboriginal Centre. Showcasing the extraordinary talents and proud celebration of Aboriginal culture, art and dance, Waradah Aboriginal Centre is a landmark product, an ideal way for global visitors to experience authentic song and dance performances, Dreamtime stories and quality authentic artworks and crafts. Take a short walk to Echo Point Lookout, Katoomba to admire the view of the Jamison Valley, including the iconic Three Sisters.

Lunch today will be a 2 Course Heritage Feast - A welcoming lunch celebrating the produce of the local region based on shared banquet platters the ‘Lookout’. Enjoy Wine Tasting @ Bar NSW at the Lookout. Bar NSW is as true to its name, will offer a broad range of wines presented via the enomatic system, boutique and craft beers, signature cocktails made from liquors and spirits, all from NSW.

Discover Leura Village’s quaint shops, galleries and cafe’s, visit Josophans Fine Chocolates, which is a highlight.

Enjoy Afternoon Tea at the famous Bygone Beautys and Treasured Teapot Museum, home of the world’s largest private collection of teapots (more than 3000 on display).

DAY THREE

Depart the Blue Mountains for a visit to the famous Featherdale Wildlife Park. Experience a face-to-face encounter at with one of our friendly koalas before you hand feed a range of Kangaroo and Wallaby species from all around this great land - amongst one of Australia's largest private collections of Australian native animals and birds all in a natural bush setting within the Sydney metropolitan area.

Arrive in Sydney and fly to the Gold Coast for ATE 2016
