Will the Minister of TOURISM be pleased to state:

(a) the list of all monuments and heritage sites in Delhi; (b) the list of all monuments and heritage sites that charge entry fee; (c) the date of commencement of collection of entry fee; and (d) total collections from each site in past five years, year-wise?

(a): The list of 173 Centrally Protected Monument under Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), under Ministry of Culture and list of 19 Protected Monuments notified under the provisions of “The Delhi Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 2004 is placed at Annexure-I.

(b): The list of all the monuments and heritage sites in Delhi that charge entry fee is placed at Annexure-II.

(c): The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) under Ministry of Culture has informed that for the first time the entry fee was introduced in the year 1959 for the Centrally Protected Monuments.

(d): The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) under the control of Ministry of Culture has informed that the collection from sale of entry fee at centrally protected ticketed monuments in Delhi is being collected from their field office.
