The Computer Chip There's a joke about personal computers that has been around almost as long as the devices have been on the market: “You buy a new computer, take it home and just as you finish unpacking it you see an advertisement for a new computer that makes yours obsolete.” While the joke is obviously an exaggeration, it's not that far off the mark. In 1976, the Cray-1 was state-of-the-art: it could process 160 million floating-point operations per second (flops) and had 8 megabytes (MB) of memory. Today, many personal computers can perform more than 10 times that number of floating-point operations “in a second” and have 100 times the amount of memory. Meanwhile on the supercomputer front, the Cray XT5 Jaguar at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory performed a sustained 1.4 CRAY-1 SUPERCOMPUTER petaflops in 2008. The prefix peta means 10 to the 15th power -- in other words, one quadrillion. Absolutely crazy advancements were made, but just 7 years later that has quadrupled again. Amazing! A green up arrow indicates to buy, hold and build wealth while the market rises. A red down arrow indicates to sell your investments and avoid the majority of a long term market decline. You can also have your investments grow, with inverse funds, while the market declines. Essentially, the goal is to shorten your time to a comfortable retirement. But in order to achieve this goal the analysis and technology must contain and optimize two primary factors:

Factor One: Correlation In the world of finance, correlation is a statistical measure of how two securities move in relation to each other. Correlation is computed into what is known as the correlation coefficient, which ranges between -1 and +1. Perfect positive correlation (a correlation co-efficient of +1) implies that as one security moves, either up or down, the other security will move in lockstep, in the same direction. Alternatively, perfect negative correlation means that if one security moves in either direction the security that is perfectly negatively correlated will move in the opposite direction. If the correlation is 0, the movements of the securities are said to have no correlation; they are completely random. This is vitally important to InterAnalyst’s ability to allow its subscribers to take advantage of both Green and Red Arrows. If there is a Green Arrow, you will invest in securities that move up while the market is rising; high correlation +.75 or greater. What’s even better is many individual highly correlated investments often rise twice as fast as the S&P500. Who wouldn’t want to include some of these? The same is true of negatively correlated investments. For example, what if you knew with 99% confidence that the market was going to continue to decline for the foreseeable future. You would want to sell all investments that were highly correlated to the markets movement. Or, even better, own investment that were negatively correlated to the markets declining movement. In other words, you make money while the market is declining. The S&P500 Index We chose to use the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index. The S&P 500 is one of the most commonly used benchmarks for the overall U.S. stock market. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) was at one time the most renowned index for U.S. stocks, but because the DJIA contains only 30 companies,

most people agree that the S&P 500 is a better representation of the U.S. market. In fact, many consider it to be the definition of the market. We chose this for market size, liquidity and industry grouping, correlative analysis among other factors. The S&P 500 is designed to be a leading indicator of U.S. equities and is meant to reflect the risk/return characteristics of the large cap universe. We chose to use the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index because it has been in existence since 1950 thus having a long history of price movements we can analyze. Secondly, we can use correlative analysis. In reality the S&P 500 Index is the industry standard benchmark and whether you live in North America, South America, Europe or the east, your market is likely to correlate highly with the S&P500 Index. Neural Network Logic We do this by using two layers of single direction logic of a neural network. Our neural network was created to be autonomous and learn by cyclical analysis and data input from outside teachers and self- teaching from written-in rules we designed privately. NOTE: Contrary to myth, Neural Networks are not Artificial Intelligence nor brains. Nonetheless, they are extremely sophisticated algorithmic systems. Neural networks that use a mean squared error function, which we do, can use formal statistical methods to determine the confidence of the trained model. The MSE on a validation set can be used as an estimate for variance. This value can then be used to calculate the confidence interval of the output of the network, assuming a normal distribution. A confidence analysis made this way is statistically validated and allowed to accurately validate all activity of a security within the charting algorithm. After any particular sample is taken, the parameter in the interval is either realized or not; it’s not just chance. It is important to note that the desired level of confidence is set by the researcher (not determined by data). In our case it is 99%. If a corresponding test is performed, the confidence level is the complement of respective level of significance. A 99% confidence interval reflects a significance level of 0.01. The confidence interval contains the parameter values that, when tested, should not be rejected with the same sample. This confidence interval confirms greater levels of variance yielding larger confidence intervals and hence less precise estimates of the parameter. Confidence intervals of difference parameters not containing 0 imply that there is a statistically significant difference between the populations. Thus, InterAnalyst’s confidence level was set to 0.01. The variance is insignificant. Thus, delivering extreme confidence in the long term outcome of the InterAnalyst Moving Average. This has led to substantial enhancements and historical arrows that never move with re-optimization. This does not mean it’s perfect; it simply means that the trade arrows are as good as it can get without accurately predicting the future . . . and only God knows that. Once you take a look and experience the performance in your accounts, you will quickly realize that the advancement we have taken is a massive technological step from the old Buy, Hold and Pray.
