This correction sheet sets out the corrections and additions to all the tender material as defined in the Document List (Contractual documents, Tender documents and Information Room documents).

Queries from bidders with the associated answers are attached as an appendix.

Corrections are shown in bold italics and highlighted in grey.

Correction to SWS 01 – Design 1.8 (Special environmental requirements):

The Contractor shall take due consideration of the terms and conditions of SWS01-00-1.8-010 PMR the following special environmental requirements, as a minimum, for the design and construction of the works:

 The construction of the High Bridge shall result in a permanent land take due to the bridge pier foundations not greater than a total of 0.5 ha in bays and inlets area.  The permanent land take of the salt marsh area in the Natura 2000 area shall not be greater than 0.1 ha.  The permanent land take of the chalk grassland area in the Natura 2000 area shall not be greater than 0.06 ha.  The Contractor shall ensure that all permanent land takes do not ex- ceed the figures for the various protected areas described above. All permanent retention ponds shall be located outside the Natura 2000 area and §3 protected areas.

 The construction of the High Bridge shall result in a permanent land take not greater than a total of 0.5 ha due to the permanent foot- print of the High Bridge in the water of the Roskilde Fjord. This footprint is considered to be the sum of the plan area of the largest elements per pier below water. This covers both the pier foundation and substructure.  The permanent land take of the salt marsh area in the Natura 2000 area shall not be greater than 0.1 ha.  The permanent land take of the chalk grassland area in the Natura

2000 area shall not be greater than 0.06 ha.  The Contractor shall ensure that all permanent land takes do not ex- ceed the figures for the various protected areas described above. All permanent retention ponds shall be located outside the Natura 2000 area and §3 protected areas.

Correction to SWS 01 – Design 2.2.3 (Crossfall):

All carriageways for straight sections shall be designed with a crossfall in SWS01-00-2.2-030 MR the range of 20% to 25%. On horizontal curves, the crossfall shall be calcu- lated based on the design speed (Vp) (Planlægningshastighed) and radius at each individual location where superelevation is to be applied.

Correction to SWS 01 – Design 2.3.3.1 (Dimensions):

1) A 0.5 m wide section of the shoulder adjacent to the hard strip shall be SWS01-00-2.3-220 PMR paved for drainage away from the carriageway to a 5 cm high asphalt wedge/kerb. All gullies shall be installed along this 0.5 m paved section on the shoulder.

1) A 0.5 m wide section of the shoulder adjacent to the hard strip shall be SWS01-01-2.3-220 PMR paved and sloped so that it drains away from the carriageway. The paved section of the shoulder shall be kerbed by an asphalt wedge 5 cm high and 10 cm wide located such that the unpaved section of the shoulder is kept free of the water drained from the carriageway. The slope of the wedge shall face towards the paved area, so that the paved area and wedge form a trough-like shape for the collection of surface water. All gullies shall be installed inside this 0.5 m paved section of the shoulder.

Roundabouts shall be designed in accordance with the requirements of SWS01-00-2.3-270 PMR Table 2-3.

Correction to SWS 01 – Design 2.3.13.2 (Pavement design software):

The asphalt concrete binder (ABB) content on the expressway, connector SWS01-00-2.3-660 PMR roads and roundabouts shall be applied at a minimum rate of 150km/m3 (50 mm).

Is replaced with:

Correction to SWS 01 – Design 3.3.2.6 (Pipes and Manholes):

For manholes on the lateral connections, and where a silt trap is necessary, SWS01-00-3.3-200 PMR the capacity of the silt trap shall be a minimum of 160 litres. For manholes of 1.25 m diameter silt traps shall have a capacity of a minimum of 250 litres.

Correction to SWS 01 – Design 3.3.2.6 (Pipes and Manholes):

Silt traps shall not be provided to manholes with pipe size greater than 700 SWS01-00-3.3-210 MR mm and not for manholes along a main carrier pipe.

Correction to SWS 01 – Design 3.3.2.6 (Pipes and Manholes):

Carrier pipes shall be laid at a minimum depth of 1.5 m below the finished SWS01-00-3.3-240 MR road surface. In exceptional cases 1.0 m depth shall be allowed, subject to suitable protection being provided and the proposals for same being ac- cepted by the Employer’s Supervisor.

Correction to SWS 01 – Design 3.3.4.3 (Layout and access):

Particular consideration shall be given to the design if a retention pond is to SWS01-00-3.3-630 PMR be located amongst the summer houses in Tørslev Hage, south of the expressway. The design shall be done in such a way that it minimizes health and safety risks for members of the public. Retention pond em- bankments shall have a maximum slope of a=5. The risk of pond of over- topping shall be minimized and overflows shall not cause flooding in the area.

Is replaced with:
