Spence, Cllr Riggall, Cllr E. Spence, Cllr Penfold, Cllr Bracey and Mrs Wilson (Clerk). Acceptance of apologies for absence Schedule 12 of the Local Government Act 1972 requires a record to be kept of the members present and that this record form part of the minutes of the meeting. Members who cannot attend a meeting should tender apologies to the Parish Clerk as it is usual for the grounds upon which apologies are tendered also to be recorded. Under Section 85(1) of the Local Government Act 1972, members present must decide whether the reason(s) for a member's absence are accepted. Cllr Phillips has emailed in amendments to the Clerks Minutes. Councillors present discussed this at length and declared the Clerks minutes a true reflection on the meeting. It was decided that Cllr Rowlinson and Cllr Billinge-Jones would request a meeting with Cllr Phillips to resolve this area of concern with Assistant Clerk to minute. No additional salting routes required, but would like WBC to follow up with neighbouring Counties regarding salting routes. 60 STREET LIGHTS Highways Act 1980 Local Government and Rating Act 1997 s30 Proposal from the Clerk to accept the quote to replace a street light in Bockhampton Road due to rusted bracket, at a cost of £ 867.63 + £370.13 (disconnection and reconnection fee). This cost does include renumbering the existing lights and straighten the leaning light near the substation. Resolved to approve this work. (For Information only). The street light poles at Goose Green and next to the Lambourn Library are scheduled to be sanded down and repainted under standard maintenance (as per agreement with the Chairman and vice- chairman of H & S). Part A - Current Report Church Introduction & Statement of Significance St Mary's Church is a redundant Anglican church in the hamlet of Lambourn Woodlands in the English county of Berkshire. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building, and is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. The church stands on the south side of the B4000 road, some 2 miles (3 km) south of Lambourn. The church was built in 1852 and designed by the architect Thomas Talbot Bury, a pupil of Augustus Charles Pugin, in Gothic Revival style. It was declared redundant on 1 June 1990, and was vested in the Churches Conservation Trust on 24 July 1991. St Mary's is constructed in flint with stone dressings, and has slate roofs. Its plan is simple, consisting of a three-bay nave, a north aisle and a chancel.
