When using a Bring Center... Does your effort count?

Across the Southern Region there are 745 Recycling Bring Centres, 27 of which are in Carlow. Bring Centres across the region remain popular particularly for the disposal of glass with approximately 5% of all the waste we generate disposed of using these facilities.

Sometimes Bring Centre’s are misused which means that the glass and cans we go to the trouble of separating out can’t be recycled because the banks have been contaminated with the wrong material. In recent months contamination levels have reached 30% at some centre’s.

Lets not waste the effort.Follow these do’s & donts at Bring Centres
