“Here’s Your Sign” Comedian Bill Engvall to play Pikes Peak Center Thursday, October 10 Tickets will go on sale on Friday, June 14 COLORADO SPRINGS (June 10, 2019) – Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum selling recording artist and one of the country’s top comedians Bill Engvall is coming to Colorado Springs to appear at Pikes Peak Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, October 10. Most recently a contestant on season 17 of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars where his popularity kept him on the show until the finals, Engvall is very well known for his platinum album Here’s Your Sign which held the No. 1 position on the Billboard Comedy Chart for 15 straight weeks. His second album, Dorkfish, also debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Comedy Chart. Engvall was part of the enormously successful Blue Collar concert films that sold more than nine million units and received a Grammy nomination. He also starred on the WB’s hit sketch comedy show Blue Collar TV and in several solo specials for Comedy Central. In 2012 Engvall reunited with Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy on the Them Idiots Whirled Tour, which aired as a special on CMT. Engvall started his career as a disc jockey in Dallas, Texas, with plans to become a teacher, however while in a night club one evening he tried his hand at stand-up comedy and found that making people laugh was his forte. Engvall then moved to Los Angeles and soon starred in a Showtime special and made appearances on The Tonight Show and The Late Show with David Letterman.
