Herding Tests & Trials Colonial Rottweiler Club CATALOG AKC LICENSED HERDING TESTS & TRIALS COLONIAL ROTTWEILER CLUB AKC LICENSED HERDING TESTS & TRIALS Otherwise, open to all Herding Group dogs, eligible Working Group. Terrier Group and FSS breeds. Herding breeds eligible to compete in the conformation Miscellaneous Class, and dogs of these breeds with ILP/PAL numbers as defined by the AKC Herding Rules and Regulations. Saturday & Sunday, May 3-4, 2014 Trials will be held outdoors at: Scarlets Mill, 2384 Hay Creek Road, Birdsboro, Pa 19508 Grounds will be open on all days from 6:00 AM until 1/2 hr after event ends. Dog does not have to trial both days. Only qualifying scores will be counted.) For each Test class, all qualifying dogs will receive green rosettes with white button and white center streamer. GENERAL INFORMATION For the safety and enjoyment of our entrants, spectators and volunteers, please observe the following rules while you are on the grounds of Scarlets Mill: • Please pick up after your dogs and dispose of waste in proper receptacles or take bagged waste with you. • Dogs that are not in a secure enclosure must never be left unattended. • Dogs must be on lead or otherwise restricted except when being judged. • Un-entered dogs are not permitted in the trial areas. • Under no circumstances will dogs be permitted to disturb resting stock or interfere with another dog's performance in the arena. ALTERNATE LIST POLICIES: When entry limits are reached, all additional entries received prior to closing will be added to an alternates list. The alternates list will be used to fill vacancies that occur in the drawn running order, with the first available alternate entry replacing the first vacancy in the class entered. In Test Classes, alternates shall be given priority over dogs eligible to be moved- up. BITCHES IN SEASON will be permitted to run but will be placed at the end of the running order in Tests and in catalog order for Trial classes. Please notify the Trial Secy before the beginning of the class if your bitch is in season. Sendo o Ovelheiro Gaúcho uma raça bastante comum no Rio Grande do Sul (Brasil) e no Uruguai, e com a cinofilia cada dia mais presente no meio acadêmico, devemos conhecer as características clínicas e genéticas que a raça pode ter herdado na sua formação. Uma das mais conhecidas é a sensibilidade específica a determinadas drogas, sabidamente presente em algumas raças que compartilham a mesma ancestralidade, como os Collies, associada ao gene mutante de resistência a múltiplas drogas conhecido como MDR1, cuja mutação causa aumento na suscetibilidade aos efeitos neurotóxicos de determinadas drogas.
