Even temperatures! Squadron just returned from the IPMS National Show in Phoenix AZ. Another great event with modelers from around the world. We also just hosted Eagle Quest 27 in June, and I had the opportunity to “meet and greet” with a bunch of great people. The show was, once again, a huge success and constantly growing. More on this on page 31. Now that we crossed the mid-year marker, Squadron is preparing for the second half with some interesting items in the pipeline. Meanwhile for this month, we have the following new additions. Continuing to grow our True Details Premium line of accessories, check out TDP32214, TDP48214, and TDP72214 shown below. These new wheel sets for the F-15 Eagle are exact resin copies from highly detailed 3D patterns. Also shown below, Moments In Time released a new display base, TDD35003 - WW2 Machine Gun Bunker Display. This 11”x 11” resin base depicts a German/Polish MG Bunker emplace- ment that will be the perfect backdrop for any 1/35th scale German, Polish or Russian WW2 subjects, either figures or small armored vehicles. The detail is incredible! In our Squadron Tool Line, we have introduced SQ10266 - 6 pc Mini Screwdriver Set on pp 58. This set of 6 miniature screwdrivers is perfect while doing small repairs on jewelry, RC, scale modeling or anything involving tiny screws. Squadron Signal Publications, on special request, has reprinted two of its most popular titles written by renowned author David Doyle. SS10221 B-25 Mitchell, below and on the back cover SS2048 The Sherman Tank in Action is documented with nearly 200 period photos, many of them in rare original color, several line drawings illustrating the subtle variations in hull, turret, and weapons used on these famed armored fighting vehicles. Includes color profiles; 80 pages. Don’t forget to keep visiting our website regularly at www.Squadron.com for daily updates on new and restocked items, videos or special discounts. As always, I would like to extend a well deserved thank you to all our customers for considering us to be your one-stop-shop for all your modeling needs. Keep up the good work! Cheers! McNair Scholars Program at Portland State University works with motivated and talented undergraduates who want to pursue PhDs. It introduces juniors and seniors who are first-generation and low income, and/or members of under-represented groups to academic research and to effective strategies for getting into and graduating from PhD programs. The McNair Scholars Program has academic-year activities and a full-time summer research internship. Scholars take academic and skills-building seminars and workshops during the year, and each scholar works closely with a faculty mentor on original research in the summer. Scholars present their research findings at the McNair Summer Symposium and at other conferences, and are encouraged to publish their papers in the McNair Journal and other scholarly publications.
