Dear Householder, Funding for Cavity Wall and Loft Insulation Selby District Council is working in partnership with City of York Council, Better Homes Selby and YES Energy Solutions to help qualifying householders get cavity wall and top up loft insulation (to 300mm) installed for little or no cost (Subject to survey). In many cases the work will be fully funded - helping you to reduce your fuel bills whilst keeping your home warm for less. Providing you meet the scheme’s qualifying criteria, you could benefit from a free or heavily discounted installation, helping you improve the thermal efficiency of your home for years to come. Do you qualify? Homeowners and private renting tenants* can qualify for free cavity wall and/or loft insulation if they: Have a total household income Or Receive certain state benefits (such as below £21,000 and live in one of the Income Support, Universal Credit, Pension following priority wards: Appleton Credit Guarantee, Tax Credits, Attendance Roebuck & Church Fenton, Cawood Allowance, Disability Living Allowance, with Wistow, or Derwent (see Carer’s Allowance…...etc). overleaf for qualifying villages) YES Energy Solutions are the Council’s only approved cavity wall and loft insulation contractor.
