The turning point of the Penguins’ game on Tuesday was undoubtedly Teddy Blueger’s 5-on-3 shorthanded goal that sparked a stretch of three unanswered goals to secure two points for Pittsburgh. PIT Casey DeSmith’s pass to Blueger on the penalty kill made the shorthanded goal possible, as he recorded his VERSUS first NHL point and became the seventh Pens goaltender since 1987-88 to record a shorthanded helper.
