2 19 Clan MacMillan’s ‘Community of the Tonsured Servant’ (CTS) Founded in 1995: Supporting the Clan MacMillan International Centre (CMIC) at Finlaystone, Scotland, and providing educational materials & events for Clan MacMillan & members around the world.

CTS Investiture Service, Kilmory Chapel, , Scotland: This mediaeval chapel built c. 1225 and home to many early Christian and mediaeval stones, was the site of the most recent Community of the Clan MacMillan Tonsured Servant (CTS) Investiture Service on Tuesday 28 July, 2009. Nine candidates surrounded the International Centre ancient MacMillan Cross (circa 1480) for ‘Alexandri MacMulen’ and a second cross c. 1500 for ‘Duncan and his father Colinus MacMillan’ housed in the ruined chapel. The shafts of both crosses can be seen in the at Finlaystone accompanying photograph which was taken by John B. McMillan. The candidates were invested by Chief Chairman: George MacMillan of MacMillan and Knap and Blanche McMillan, Abbot of CTS. This service was part of George G.
