Event No 1 On June 1, the author was invited to offer a talk to the residents of the campus of the Beatitudes located at 16th Ave and Glendale. It is a large cam- pus consisting of adult living facility for elderly people requiring different level of care starting from inde- pendent apartment-like living to assisted living as well as skilled nursing care. I was contacted by their management through Arizona Interfaith Movement to offer one hour talk about Sikh faith. Finding an inter- esting opportunity, I was able to take advantage and offered a detailed one hour long program touching all avenues of Sikh faith including Sikh history Philoso- phy Sikh presence in US and their role in World War I and World War II. There were several questions from the audience that were satisfactorily answers that were satisfactorily answered at the end.

EVENT No. 2 June 19th was the FATHER DAY. Ironically same day, being the third Sunday of the month hap- pened to be the Sikh Community’s Homeless Lunch Seva Day. Close to about 20 Sikh members of com- munity joined hand together to Celebrate Father’s Day in a unique way i.e. serving Father God through serving Its less-fortunate children i.e. HOMELESS people at Phoenix Rescue Mission with hot fresh Lunch.
