Middle Township 23rd Annual Olde Tyme Harvest Festival Craft Vendor Application
Attention Crafters!
Our 23rd Annual “Olde Tyme Harvest Festival” is scheduled for Saturday October 23, 2021, with the rain date of Sunday October 24, 2021. The event will be held on Mechanic Street in Cape May Court House. This will be a daylong celebration of the old and the new Middle Township. We will be featuring live music, games, rides, food and much more!!!
As part of this day, a CRAFT SHOW will be a featured as well. We would like to invite you to take part in this celebration of our heritage. Please read the information below, fill out the form and mail it back to us as soon as possible.
Date: Saturday October 23, 2021. 10AM-5PM. Set up time is from 6AM-9AM. Rain Date: Sunday October 24, 2021. 12PM-5PM. Set up time is from 8AM-11AM. Place: Cape May Court House, NJ. Mechanic Street will be closed to vehicular traffic. Activities will take place on Mechanic Street and in the County Parking lot behind the library.
Cost: $90.00 per space on Mechanic/Boyd Street, $75.00 all Ancillary areas/streets (Spaces are 12’x12’) Electric is not provided.

This festival is one of Middle Township’s primary community events. We are looking forward to another highly successful program highlighted by a wide variety of activities happening throughout the day.

TO: Prospective Craft Vendors FROM: Middle Township Special Events Department RE: Harvest Festival Enclosed is a registration form for this year’s “Olde Tyme Harvest Festival” to be held Saturday, October 23, 2021, with the rain date being October 24, 2021. Craft spaces will be given on a first come first serve basis. Mechanic Street will be given out first then the remaining spaces will be given out until all spaces are gone. If you are interested, please be aware of the following guidelines.
The following items may NOT be sold or dispensed from any space during the Harvest Festival hours:
1. F--T SPRAYS, BOMBS OR PENS 2. SILLY STRING 3. HAIR COLORING SPRAYS 4. CLASS “C” FIREWORKS – SPARKLERS, SNAPS, ETC. 5. POLITICAL FLYERS, BUTTONS, BUMPER STICKERS, ETC. 6. SWORDS, KNIVES OR WEAPONS OF ANY KIND 7. DRUG RELATED ITEMS INCLUDING ANY ITEM RELATING TO THE PROMOTION OR USE OF DRUGS, CBD ALCOHOL OR VIOLENCE.
Any item(s) deemed inappropriate, will be requested to be removed. Refusal to remove inappropriate items will result in vendor being removed from the premises with NO REFUND!
These regulations will be strictly enforced. It has become necessary to ban these items because of local complaints and property damage.
Important Insurance Update: Due to requirements of the Township’s Insurance carrier, all vendors and non-profit groups will continue to be required to provide the Township of Middle’s Harvest Festival with evidence of Liability insurance naming the Township of Middle as Additional Named Insured along with the Additional Insured Endorsement. In the Amounts as Follows: Home business type $100,000 Liability May use homeowners Policy* Non Profit/Charity Type $300,000 Liability Business $1 million liability Middle Township is registered for an insurance program for vendors through our insurance. For more information on the Tenant User Liability Insurance Policy (TULIP), please see enclosed information.
No vehicles may remain on the festival grounds during the event. Confirmation of your space will be sent via email once your application and payment are received.
Though you may request a spot, you are not guaranteed that spot. We do our very best to accommodate everyone’s requests, but due to spacing and time when application was sent in, we cannot promise you your requested spot. The best chances are to turn your application in early in the year to increase your chances of getting the spot you want.
The rain date for this event is scheduled for Sunday, October 24, 2021, starting at 12:00PM to 5:00PM. If inclement weather is an issue, you will be notified by 5PM on Friday of any cancellations or changes, which will also be placed on the Township’s website at www.middletownship.com. The will be NO REFUNDS!!!!!! So please, mark your calendars for both days just in case. If you have further questions, please contact the Special Events Department at 609-465-8728.

MEL TULIP Program
Tenant users MUST purchase coverage directly from the OneBeacon Entertainment (OBE) TULIP Website using their own credit cards. OBE will handle the reporting for the MEL.
Tenant users may obtain a quote from OneBeacon Entertainment without obligation to purchase by doing the following:
1. Visit the TULIP website at https://tulip.onebeaconentertainment.com/e/tulip/apply.aspx
2. Enter facility location code 4990-323 for the appropriate member town (NOTE: the facility location code will be entered on the TULIP website in the field that reads “Venue ID Code”). A list of facility location codes for the various MEL members can be found on the corresponding spreadsheet labeled “Locations by Facility. The code you will use is (323).
3. Complete Steps 1, 2 and 3 to obtain a quote.
4. If you are ready to purchase coverage, please complete the application and pay with a credit card.
