Attention Food Vendors!

Our 23rd Annual “Olde Tyme Harvest Festival” is scheduled for Saturday October 23, 2021, with the rain date of Sunday October 24, 2021. The event will be held on Mechanic Street in Cape May Court House. This will be a daylong celebration of the old and the new Middle Township. We will be featuring live music, games, rides, food and much more!!!

As part of this day, a FOOD VENDOR AREA will be a featured as well. We would like to invite you to take part in this celebration of our heritage. Date: Saturday October 23, 2021. 10AM-5PM. Set up time is from 6AM-9AM. Rain Date: Sunday October 24, 2021. 12PM-5PM. Set up time is from 8AM-11AM. Place: Cape May Court House, NJ. The food court will be held in the parking lot behind the township municipal building. Mechanic Street will be closed to vehicular traffic. Activities will take place on Mechanic Street and in the County Parking lot behind the library.

Cost: $275.00 per space (Spaces are 18’x18’) Electric will be available

Enclosed is a registration form for this year’s “Olde Tyme Harvest Festival” to be held Saturday, October 23, 2021, with the rain date being October 24, 2021. If you are interested, please be aware of the following guidelines.

1. There will be a maximum of 20 spaces available with electricity. 2. Price for each space is $275.00 3. One space is the size of two (2) parking lot spaces approximately 18’X18’. 4. If you have a van, trailer, etc. it must fit into this size space. We cannot accommodate anything larger unless you purchase more than one space. 5. We do not provide running water. 6. At the end of the day, all cooking oil, grease, solvents, etc. must be removed from the site and disposed of. 7. We do not limit the types of food to any one vendor. There may be multiples of the same type of fare. 8. All food vendors are required to have a Fire Permit, Board of Health Certificate and Certificate of Insurance. 9. Set up time starts at 6AM and must be completed by 9AM. (NO EXCEPTIONS) Vehicles must be removed from the site no later than 9:30AM. (NO EXCEPTIONS) Arrangements may be made to set up certain items the night before after 6:00PM. These arrangements must be made in advance. 10. Payment is due with registration form. Your spot will not be reserved without payment. 11. Set up time for rain date is 8:00AM TO 11:00AM. Vehicles must be out by 11:30AM.

NO REFUNDS! The rain date for this event is scheduled for Sunday, October 24, 2021, starting at 12:00PM to 5:00 PM. If inclement weather is an issue, you will be notified by 5PM Friday of any cancellations or changes, which will also be placed on the Township’s website www.middletownship.com . TO: Prospective Craft Vendors FROM: Middle Township Special Events Department RE: Harvest Festival Enclosed is a registration form for this year’s “Olde Tyme Harvest Festival” to be held Saturday, October 23, 2021, with the rain date being October 24, 2021. If you are interested, please be aware of the following guidelines.

The following items may NOT be sold or dispensed from any space during the Harvest Festival hours:

1. F--T SPRAYS, BOMBS OR PENS 2. SILLY STRING 3. HAIR COLORING SPRAYS 4. CLASS “C” FIREWORKS – SPARKLERS, SNAPS, ETC. 5. POLITICAL FLYERS, BUTTONS, BUMPER STICKERS, ETC. 6. SWORDS, KNIVES OR WEAPONS OF ANY KIND 7. DRUG RELATED ITEMS INCLUDING ANY ITEM RELATING TO THE PROMOTION OR USE OF DRUGS, CBD ALCOHOL OR VIOLENCE.

Any item(s) deemed inappropriate, will be requested to be removed. Refusal to remove inappropriate items will result in vendor being removed from the premises with NO REFUND!

These regulations will be strictly enforced. It has become necessary to ban these items because of local complaints and property damage.

Important Insurance Update: Due to requirements of the Township’s Insurance carrier, all vendors and non-profit groups will continue to be required to provide the Township of Middle’s Harvest Festival with evidence of Liability insurance naming the Township of Middle as Additional Named Insured along with the Additional Insured Endorsement. In the Amounts as Follows: Home business type $100,000 Liability May use homeowners Policy* Non Profit/Charity Type $300,000 Liability Business $1 million liability Middle Township is registered for an insurance program for vendors through our insurance. For more information on the Tenant User Liability Insurance Policy (TULIP), please see enclosed information.

No vehicles may remain on the festival grounds during the event. Confirmation of your space will be sent via email once your application and payment are received.

Though you may request a spot, you are not guaranteed that spot. We do our very best to accommodate everyone’s requests, but due to spacing and time when application was sent in, we cannot promise you your requested spot. The best chances are to turn your application in early in the year to increase your chances of getting the spot you want.

If inclement weather is an issue, you will be notified by 5PM on Friday of any cancellations or changes, which will also be placed on the Township’s website at www.middletownship.com.
