Its scope of activity covered the naturally sparkly natural mineral water gushing out of the Dorna spring to be found in an area which bears the same name. It goes without saying that the trading name of this water could not be other than “Dorna”. During 1996-1999, three mineral water brands have been created (on three different sites Dorna, Poiana Negri and Izvorul Alb) in Vatra Dornei, Suceava County. The Valvis Holding Group has operated and developed its activities in industrial processing of agricultural products and in the dairy industry since 1998, when the first green field milk processing plant was built near Dorna Candreni, Suceava County. Shortly after, Dorna Hellas S.A. made of LaDORNA organic milk the leader in Greek organic milk market, surpassing all difficulties in the sector. Before 2007 was over, following a series of profitable trade agreements, Dorna Hellas enhanced its position on the dairy market, and committed itself to offer high quality dairy products of real nutritional value, while its ultimate goal remained to contribute to a more natural, healthier, better and well-balanced daily diet. In 2008, Dorna Hellas S.A. was acquired by the French group Lactalis S.A., as an integral part of Dorna Lactate S.A. Mountains and the Olt River. This land has been inhabited and cultivated since ancient times. It is by far the region with the longest historical tradition in wine production, especially for the Cabernet Sauvignon variety. Other varieties produced in the area:Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot and Feteasca Neagra. Like many other state owned companies, Viti Pomicola Samburesti winery, was shaken by the turbulent transition period of 1990-2005. It knew a long period of decline, detrimental management, permanent lack of development funds and continuous internal fights among its shareholders. All these impaled the company’s image and the Samburesti wine was almost completely forgotten. In 2005 Valvis Holding Group started to invest in Viti-Pomicola Samburesti, which covers an area of 500 hectares of vineyards and 500 hectares of fruit trees. With an investment program of more than 14,5 million euros, the Samburesti wine came back to life. The whole vineyard area was upgraded, the wine making complex was renovated, a new modern bottling line was built and a standard irrigation system was made available. This investment, worth 9 million euros, was earmarked for the restoration of the wine’s legacy. The cellar was completely renovated, more than 4 million were invested in the production line, storage and bottling equipment. An additional 1,5 million euros investment was made in the renewal of the agricultural machinery fleet. The Samburesti wine won international recognition in the past. It is considered to rank among the best red wines in the world, title won for the first time in Paris in 1891. Since then, it has attracted 47 gold and 30 silver medals in international wine competitions.     INTERNATIONAL POLICY ANALYSIS The Extreme Right in Contemporary Romania RADU CINPOEª October 2012 n In contrast to the recent past of the country, there is a low presence of extreme right groups in the electoral competition of today’s Romania. A visible surge in the politi- cal success of such parties in the upcoming parliamentary elections of December 2012 seems to be unlikely. This signals a difference from the current trend in other European countries, but there is still potential for the growth of extremism in Roma- nia aligning it with the general direction in Europe. n Racist, discriminatory and intolerant attitudes are present within society. Casual intol- erance is widespread and racist or discriminatory statements often go unpunished. In the absence of a desire by politicians to lead by example, it is left to civil society organisations to pursue an educative agenda without much state-driven support. n Several prominent members of extreme right parties found refuge in other political forces in the last years. These cases of party migration make it hard to believe that the extreme views held by some of these ex-leaders of right-wing extremism have not found support in the political parties where they currently operate. The fact that some of these individuals manage to rally electoral support may in fact suggest that this happens precisely because of their original views and attitudes, rather than in spite of them.     THE IMPACT OF THE ENGLISH ECONOMIC TERMS IN THE BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT Museanu Elena Romanian – American University Coanc ; Mariana Romanian – American University In terms of quantity, the English (American) influence in the economic language is striking, remarkable. The adjustment of these terms is brief, relative, which is not a factor favoring the assimilation of loans, but is permissible, in principle, for Anglicisms. In what concerns the need for these loans, it can be deemed that the demarcation between “necessary loans” and “luxury loans” is not yet solid. Low frequency or isolated Anglicisms may be classified into the second category (some may even affect proper specialized communication). Even if enough Anglicisms recorded in the economic press will not remain in Romanian, "the era of the Internet, of globalization"94, we may consider a greater influence of English in the economy (perhaps similar to computer science). Keywords: Anglicisms, economic terms, specialized communication I.1. Our research is focused on analyzing the importance of economic terminology for broader socio-professional groups. An observation that emerges is the representative presence and use of English terms in texts which seek their spread beyond the field of specialists. Such texts belong, in general, to a certain type of media – the “popularizing” press, eventually the press of “scientific popularization”. The interest in such cases is amplified when there is an obvious extra linguistic reasoning, such as the case of a part of economic terminology in Romania since 1990, a period characterized by profound economic changes. These extra linguistic realities sometimes need to be defined by explicit terms (and the scientific terms must generally be mono-semantic and, therefore, precise).

Some of them don’t exist anymore, but there always appear new ones. The Romanian newspaper market comprises about 1500 publications most of which appear on a weekly basis and 200 daily newspapers. Television is the most familiar source of information. The radio landscape has changed considerably - similar to the television - since 1990. Besides the public broadcaster offering several programs, there are over 150 private local radio stations and various other channels. Despite the diversity of the Romanian press, we cannot yet speak of a completely free press (see the report of the Freedom House organization). The limitations of media freedom and freedom of speech are related to media ownership, but also with gaps in the national legislation. This study aims to contribute to the advancement in the conceptualization of qualitative journalism by proposing to analyze different situations of failure in investigative journalism and identifying factors that conduct to limitation of media freedom.
