The details are set out in Table A(1)(d). Designed with intimate wooded courtyards that form grove-like spaces, its name reflects the development’s design approach and location. 16 Plantation Grove is situated close to two upcoming Jurong Region Line MRT stations, and will be conveniently served by bus services that lead to the city and nearby towns. Autonomous vehicles will also be piloted at Plantation District to provide convenient first-mile-last-mile connection to key transport nodes and amenities. 17 A key feature of this district is the Plantation Farmway, which will provide spaces to foster lifestyles centred around community gardening and farming. There will also be amenities that add vibrancy to the district, such as a Community Club, Neighbourhood Centre and a shopping street along the Plantation Farmway. Another key feature is the Forest Fringe, which is a 15- to 20-metre wide linear green that provides a tranquil and rustic environment for residents to enjoy the surrounding flora and fauna. Residents may also cycle and walk around Tengah via the extensive network of cycling and pedestrian paths throughout the district. 18 Plantation Grove is designed with numerous eco-friendly features such as eco- pedestals in bathrooms to encourage water conservation, regenerative lifts to reduce energy consumption and ABC Waters design features to clean rainwater and beautify the landscape. The development also has smart technologies that bring about a more liveable, efficient, sustainable and safe living environment, including a Pneumatic Waste Conveyance System which optimises the deployment of resources for cleaner and fuss- free waste disposal as well as smart lighting in common areas to reduce energy usage. 7 8 TAMPINES GREENGEM 19 Tampines GreenGem is bounded by Bedok Reservoir Road and Tampines Street 96. The details are set out in Table A(1)(e). There are plenty of shopping, dining and recreational amenities in Tampines town such as Tampines 1, Tampines Mall, and Century Square. 22 For recreation, residents can visit Our Tampines Hub, Singapore’s first integrated community and lifestyle hub, which houses a variety of sports facilities such as swimming pools, sports hall, gymnasium, and Tampines Regional Library. Dining options are also available at the hawker centre located within the Hub. Alternatively, the residents can shop at the HDB NC at Tampines Street 81 where there are various shops and eating outlets.
