FAQ – The Source Employee Purchase Program (EPP)

Q1. What is The Source Employee Purchase Program? The Source Employee Purchase Program (EPP) offers Bell team members and retirees savings up to 30% on products and services at The Source, over and above sale-priced items.

The Source EPP offers 3 easy ways to shop and save: 1. Online at TheSource.ca/EPP 2. In store with your employee ID. If you’re a retiree, present your valid drug card (i.e. Assure, Express Scripts ESI) or your The Source EPP Card and a photo ID. 3. By phone at 1-866-454-4426

Q2. Who is eligible for The Source EPP?  Permanent full-time or part-time team members from Bell, BCE and the following associated companies: - Bell Aliant - Bell Conferencing - Bell Technical Solutions - Bell Media - The Createch Group - Expertech - Northwestel - The Source - Virgin Mobile  Retirees receiving a pension from Bell or BCE (age 55 and over, with a total of age plus years of service equal to at least 80).

Q3. Are team members on a leave of absence eligible for The Source EPP? Yes, team members on parental, disability and other leaves of absence are eligible for The Source EPP provided they meet the conditions above.

Q4. What are The Source EPP discounts? Discounts range from 5% to 30% depending on the product. For example, Bell team members save:  5% on iPods, tablets and computers  10% on televisions and ink cartridges  Up to 30% on almost everything else

To see the discount for products you are interested in, visit TheSource.ca/EPP. Once you’re logged in to the site, you will see the EPP-discounted prices.

Q5. How do I get The Source EPP discount? There are 3 easy ways to get The Source EPP savings: 1. Online: Visit TheSource.ca/EPP 2. In store: Present your employee ID card at a participating The Source location. If you’re a retiree, present your valid drug card (i.e. Assure, Express Scripts ESI) or your The Source EPP Card and a photo ID.

Q6. Does The Source EPP also apply to sale-priced items? Yes, The Source EPP discount applies to both regular and sale-priced items, but cannot be combined with any other discount program, such as price-matching.

Q7. What products are excluded from The Source EPP? There are no EPP discounts on the following products:

 Gaming consoles, mobile devices, gift cards and wireless virtual pins

Q8. Will The Source match competitors’ sale prices? If an identical product is available from a competitor for a lower price, you can get it for the same price from The Source thanks to their Price Match Guarantee.

However, you may not combine The Source EPP savings with a discount obtained through price-matching. You may choose whichever discount is greater.

Q9. Does The Source EPP provide discounts on Bell TV, Bell Mobility and Virgin Mobile products? No, Bell and Virgin Mobile products are not included in The Source. However, most team members and retirees are eligible for the Bell Employee Discount Plan (EDP), which provides a 35% discount on most Bell services.

Q10. When does The Source EPP end? The Source EPP does not have an expiry date. However, The Source and Bell reserve the right to modify or end the program without notice.

Q11. Can my friends and family benefit from The Source EPP? No, The Source EPP discount is not transferable and will only apply to purchases made by eligible team members and retirees.

Q12. What is the return policy? If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, feel free to return it with your receipt within 30 days of purchase. Please visit TheSource.ca for the current return policy.

Q13. Is there a limit to the items I can purchase? There is no limit to the number of items you can purchase.

Q14. What if the product I want is not currently available? The Source EPP discount only applies to in-stock items. Rain checks will not be issued.

Q15. Do Bell team members and retirees get free shipping? Free shipping is available to your preferred The Source location. You must present your valid employee ID when picking up your order. If you’re a retiree, present your valid drug card (i.e. Assure, Express Scripts ESI) or your The Source EPP Card and a photo ID. Q16. What is “Ship to store”? When ordering online or by phone, The Source can ship your items for free to a nearby The Source store within 3 to 5 days.

One-hour pick-up for online and phone orders may not be available for items purchased through The Source EPP. If one-hour pick-up is available, you will be notified during your shopping transaction.

Q17. Are The Source EPP discounts a taxable benefit? No, the discounts are not a taxable benefit.

Q18. Can I get The Source EPP discount at any The Source store? To find a participating The Source location near you, use the Store Locator. Although some The Source dealers do not participate in the EPP, you can still choose those locations for picking up orders made online or by phone with the EPP discount.

Q19. Where can I find the latest The Source flyer? Visit The Source website for the latest flyers and sign up for The Source eNews flyer to stay up-to-date on sales and VIP special events.
