Specific information for Town fans: Ticket news Tickets for this game are sold out. Travelling to AFC Wimbledon Supporters Coach For those travelling from Ipswich the official coaches are leaving Portman Road promptly at 15:20 (please be at Portman Road at least 15 minutes before this) at a cost of £21 for adults (with concession prices for U23s, U19s and 65+ Seniors). Coaches are estimated to arrive back at Portman Road at 12:50am on Wednesday 12 February. Subject to availability, tickets can be purchased from www.itfcdirect.com (under tickets/travel) or in Planet Blue on a non-matchday or at the Ticket Office on Constantine Road from 9am prior to home games. There are no planned stops on either the outward or return journey. Pick-ups at Marks Tey can be arranged for this game. If you want to organise a pick-up please call the Ticket Enquiries Team on 03330 050503 or email [email protected]. The cut-off point to request a pickup is midday on Friday 7 February. Your details will then be passed onto the coach company, Suffolk Norse. Note that all official coaches are non-smoking and the consumption of alcohol on board is strictly forbidden. ITFC recommend that all supporters under 16 are accompanied by an adult. Car The Sat Nav postcode for The Cherry Red Records Stadium is KT1 3PB. The obvious and quickest route (assuming no issues) is via the A12 and M25 clockwise. Note: This route involves the Dartford Crossing. You must pay the Dartford Crossing charge by midnight the day after you cross. You will get a fine if you’re late or do not pay. Details can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/pay-dartford-crossing-charge From Ipswich, take the A12 to the M25. Join the M25 signposted M20/M23/Dartford Crossing. Follow the M25 to junction 9 where you join the A243. Continue on the A243. From the A243, take the Kingston bypass / A3 to Jack Goodchild Way. Alternatively, you can continue on the M25 to junction 10 and take the A3 northbound towards London. At the exit for New Malden/Worcester Park, turn off and take the left into Malden Road (A2043) towards Kingston. Follow this to the next roundabout. Take the first exit into Kingston Road (A2043 still) and the stadium is one mile on the left. Alternative routes include the A12 and the M25 anti-clockwise to junction 10 where you join the A3 and follow the instructions as above. The likely journey time via the Dartford tunnel is around three hours, but can be even longer in the event of traffic issues – please bear in mind that this is an evening game and traffic is likely to be very heavy. The other routes are likely to take a little longer. Parking At the stadium, parking is available at no cost on a first-come, first-served basis. Note that this car park can be full up to 90 minutes before kick-off. 32 parking spaces are available for disabled fans on a first-come, first-served basis - the spaces can be used by home or away fans with a blue badge. While these spaces are held for disabled badge holders, the number of would-be users exceeds the number of spaces, so early arrival is encouraged. Parking is also available in nearby streets. AFC Wimbledon urge fans to park responsibly and with consideration for local residents. A limited number of spaces in bicycle racks are also available at the stadium. Train The nearest rail station is Norbiton, which is less than a mile away from the stadium. Trains run from Waterloo to Norbiton every 15 minutes via Clapham Junction and Wimbledon (terminating at Shepperton or Strawberry Hill). The journey time from Waterloo is around 25 minutes (trains leave Waterloo at 12, 27, 42 and 57 minutes past the hour). Note that some trains take much longer (leaving Waterloo just after 00 and 30 minutes past the hour) so do check before you travel. If you are travelling from Ipswich, when you arrive at London Liverpool Street take the Central Line to Bank and pick up the Waterloo & City Line to Waterloo. Alternatively, you can change at Stratford and take the Jubilee line to Waterloo. The journey time from Ipswich to Norbiton is around 2 hours 20 minutes to 2 hours 50 minutes depending on connection times and route. After the game there is a train from Norbiton at 22:06. This arrives at Waterloo at 22:34. From Waterloo, www.greateranglia.co.uk shows the Jubilee line to Stratford where you pick up the 23:38 to Ipswich, arriving in Ipswich at 00:44. If you are only travelling back as far as London, then trains leave at 22:06, 22:20, 22:36, 22:50 and at the same minutes past 23:00. These take around 30 minutes back to Waterloo. There are also some slower trains so check before you travel – it may not be obvious from platform indicators as to which are the slower trains. Whatever your travel plans, it’s worth checking www.greateranglia.co.uk or your usual train operator website for updated times and any late changes to engineering works. Getting to the ground from Norbiton Leave Norbiton station via the back exit, and take the first left onto Norbiton Avenue. Follow the road round to the left and then turn right onto Gloucester Road. Take a left on to Cambridge Road and walk 400 yards until you reach the stadium on your right. The away entrance is a little further past here on the right-hand side – it is well signposted. Disabled fans or fans with youngsters AFC Wimbledon suggest that if you have a disability or are travelling with youngsters, it may be better to take the train to Kingston and pick up a 131 bus the rest of the way. By bus You can take the 131 bus, which stops right outside the ground, from Wimbledon Station or Kingston Town Centre. The full 131 bus route runs through: Kingston - New Malden - Raynes Park - Wimbledon - Colliers Wood - Tooting Broadway. Pubs For information about the two bars at the ground see ‘At the ground’ below. There are not many pubs near to the ground. www.footballgroundguide.com mentions the Bricklayers Arms on Hawks Road (KT1 3DS), about a ten-minute walk from the stadium. Many fans choose to drink in Kingston or New Malden and then get a bus (the 131) to the ground or take the long walk. From Kingston buses head towards Tooting Broadway and from New Malden they head towards Kingston. There is a Wetherspoons, the Watchman, on New Malden High Street and near the station is Bar Malden. In Kingston, real ale and craft beer types may well appreciate the Albion, 45 Fairfield Road, KT1 2PY, which has a large choice of real ales, ciders and gins but is a bit off the obvious route, or the Antelope, 87 Maple Road, KT6 4AW, which includes an in-house 6-barrel brewery, Big Smoke Brew Co. At the ground Bars There are two bars located in the Paul Strank Stand. The back bar holds up to 150 people on matchdays and the Your Golf Travel bar has a capacity of 300. For most games, away fans will be admitted to the bar but if not this will be announced on the AFC Wimbledon website before the match takes place. Tickets on the day Tickets for this game are sold out. Away end Most Town fans will be in the RyGas Stand which is a terrace stand segregated into home and away sections.

This move prompted the London Assembly’s Culture, Sport and Tourism committee to look into the issue of redevelopment for London clubs. With Fulham and Brentford yet to secure new stadiums for their clubs and question marks remaining over Arsenal’s and Tottenham’s grounds the issue is a live one. We do not want to see more clubs leave London. During the 2002/03 season about 5 million fans watched professional football in London. In addition, hundreds of thousands of Londoners participate every year in club sponsored community projects and play football. This report seeks to ensure that this added value isn’t lost to Londoners. We did not set out to judge local situations but to tease out lessons learnt by London football clubs. Football is more than just a business: the ties that a club has with its area and the fans that live or come from there are great. We recommend that more clubs have supporters on their board and applaud the work of Supporters Direct in rejuvenating the links between clubs and their fan base.

Main Sponsor Umbro is a British sportswear and football equipment supplier based in Cheadle, Greater Manchester. The company is currently a subsidiary of Iconix Brand Group. Umbro designs, sources, and markets football-related apparel, footwear, and equipment. Its products are sold in over 90 countries worldwide. The company was founded by Harold Humphreys, along with his brother Wallace in a small workshop in Wilmslow, Cheshire, inspired by the growing interest in football witnessed nationwide. The name "Umbro" is a quasi-portmanteau inspired from Humphreys Brothers Clothing. Umbro's kit debut was in the 1934 FA Cup final, when both teams Manchester City and Portsmouth wore uniforms designed and manufactured by the company. Other teams supplied by Umbro during the 1930s and 1940s were Sheffield United, Preston North End, Manchester United and Blackpool. Umbro was the official sports manufacturer of the English FA Cup and official sponsor of The FA, being the exclusive supplier of balls to the body's leagues. In 1952, the British team at the Summer Olympics wore Umbro kits, tailored for the needs of their individual sports. Umbro would supply kits for the British Olympics team for the next 20 years. In 1957 Umbro entered the tennis market, producing sports clothing in collaboration with player Ted Tinling. This collaboration extended for three decades. Another sportsman who collaborated with Umbro was Manchester United manager Matt Busby, in 1959. That same year the company started to sell its junior boys' kits, a set of shirt, shorts and socks that would allow young players to wear the same look as their footballing idols.
