If # of registrant is insufficient meet configuration will be 1 x 25 meter, 8 lanes. To be confirmed 1 week prior to meet start. Warm-up Facilities 4 x 25m – Lane 5 – 8 Training Pool Timing system Omega electronic timing system equipped with 8 touch pads per starting end and an electronic display board at the north end of the pool. Banners Team banners are welcome. They can be displayed in the seating areas throughout the competition and the diving platforms. Lockers Free lockers are available in the change rooms. Swimmers must provide their own lock. Canteen Light snacks for swimmers will be offered during the meet. No food is permitted on pool deck. Good Earth and Jugo Juice are available onsite. Facility Parking Free parking is available but not guaranteed. Free overflow parking is available at the Elbow River Casino with a valid parking pass provided by Customer Service or the Parking Attendant. CMSC2018 – CALGARY Page | 4 Calgary 2018 - Canadian Masters Swimming Championships Repsol Sports Centre- May 19th to 21st, 2018 Public Transit from From the Ramada Plaza Calgary Downtown: Partner Hotels Swimmers will get on the train at 6th Street West station, which is one block North of the hotel. They’ll get on the train on the south side of the street (the side closest to the hotel). They will board the red line headed in the direction of Somerset/Bridlewood (the south train). From the Westin Calgary: Swimmers will walk south on 3 Street SW to 7 Avenue SW. On 7 Avenue, swimmers will board the red line CTrain at 3 Street SW headed towards Somerset/Bridlewood (the south train). Swimmers will exit the train at the Erlton Station, which is 4 stops from 3rd Street West. At Erlton, follow the bike path that is marked with a Repsol Sport Centre sign at the start of the path. It is a 7-8 minutes walk from the Erlton stop to the Repsol Sport Centre. Visit http://www.calgarytransit.com for complete details of the C-Train routes, schedules and fares. LRT Grade Separation Study Phase One: Education & Issues Scoping Stakeholder Report Back: What we heard Winter 2017 Project overview The City of Calgary is conducting a functional planning study of 25 Avenue S.E. and the Red Line LRT tracks crossing. This study will develop a recommended grade separation plan for the Red Line LRT tracks and 25 Avenue S.E. It will also identify short-term improvements in the study area. The final recommended plan will improve travel through this area for people driving, walking, cycling and taking transit. Phase one engagement overview The Engage Spectrum level for phase one of our engagement for this project is Listen and Learn, which is defined as, “We will listen to stakeholders and learn about their plans, views, issues, concerns, expectations and ideas.” We will listen to and learn from the ideas and concerns of the community, as they relate to the study area. We will learn about community priorities, which will help us develop the evaluation criteria that will be used to assess options for grade separation and short-term improvements. The engagement events and tactics for phase one included: - An in-person open house held on Tuesday, February 28, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at Repsol Sport Centre. 68 people attended the event. - An online survey was available from February 27 through March 13 at calgary.ca/25avestudy where 45 people provide responses. - The project team also participated in the Inglewood/ Ramsay Project coordination events on March 9 and 11, where we talked with 150 residents over the two nights.

This report focuses on the results of 17 Civic Partners that receive operating grants. Our Board-approved a 2020-23 Strategic Plan update that reflects our accomplishments to date, along with revised actions and KPIs to ensure Sport Calgary remains an effective voice for sport in our city going forward. This year is notable for being a year of leadership transition at Sport Calgary. Our new Board Chair is Mary Moran, President & CEO of Calgary Economic Development (CED), who is entering her sixth year on our volunteer Board of Directors. Under her leadership at CED, there has been a greater focus on Calgary’s competitiveness in the new economy including in the areas of talent development, innovation, placemaking and being a business friendly city. As well, Catriona Le May Doan has moved into the role of President & CEO of Sport Calgary.
