JOHN FARNHAM LIVE! ONLY VICTORIAN SHOW FOR A DAY ON THE GREEN CONTINUES 10th ANNIVERSARY SEASON

Australia’s favourite winery concert series continues its 10th anniversary season with Aussie icon set to play his first a day on the green events.

Farnham will perform three a day on the green shows nationally and indoor theatres as part of the John Farnham Live! tour through October/November. The legendary performer will play his only Victorian concert at Rochford Wines, Yarra Valley on Saturday October 23, with and Vika & Linda as supports.

On announcing the tour today, John said: “I love doing outdoor shows and the vineyards around are such beautiful venues to perform at.”

For a man who has sold more tickets, more and notched up more achievements than any other Australian musician, performing live is still an absolute joy. This next round of shows continues Farnham’s ever-evolving musical life, which these days remains in balance with his time away from centre stage.

The concerts will once again feature Farnham’s long-time and hugely acclaimed band, featuring Chong Lim (musical director), Angus Burchell (drums), Stuart Fraser (guitar), (guitar), Steve Williams (guitar), Bob Coasin, Craig Newman, Lindsay Field (backing vocals), (backing vocals) and Dannielle Gaha (backing vocals).

Together they will work through Farnham’s phenomenal songbook, giving audiences the chance to once again see this consummate singer and entertainer in full flight. These select shows will also give Farnham fans an exclusive sneak preview of some brand new songs that he is currently recording for his new .

Whilst Farnham’s achievements are far too many to document, perhaps these two require acknowledgement. On record, ‘’ remains Australia’s highest selling album by a domestic artist ever and on stage, Farnham has performed a staggering total of 164 concerts at ’s Rod Laver Arena and the Sydney Entertainment Centre – a feat unlikely to ever be topped.

Joining John will be another much-loved Australian artist KATE CEBERANO. Whether it is her soulful voice, her charismatic nature or exotic looks, Kate is undoubtedly one of Australia’s most successful and popular female performers. Over 17 albums and 25 years, Kate has juggled an abundance of work on record, stage, television, film and for charity. Along the way, she has notched up an enviable string of accomplishments including six platinum albums, four gold albums, more than one million album sales, sold out tours and nearly every award imaginable. Throughout their career with and several platinum albums as The Bull Sisters, ’s glorious voices and charming on stage presence has endeared them to concert audiences everywhere. The sisters’ soulful sounds work a treat in the winery setting.

Melbourne's has done all the hard yards in the past few years supporting Vanessa Amorosi, Newton Faulkner and Shannon Noll on the road and travelling the globe working with many highly regarded writers like Guy Chambers (Robbie Williams) and Toby Gad (Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas). His new single and EP ‘After The Fall’ suggests it has all paid off, with the track the #1 Most Added at Australian radio in July, and courtesy of guest appearances by friends Lisa and Jess Origliasso (the Veronica’s) playing an angel and devil in the accompanying video, finding huge success on YouTube here and in many countries internationally. Michael is currently recording an album in LA and is definitely set for a strong future.
