Women’s Institute 11th April 1st Team away against Southmead CS Ath (KO 7.30pm) The WI resolution to be discussed in May was voted in nationally as “mental health”. 14th April 1st Team home against Broadwell Amateurs Next Dr Jen Heath, (clinical psychologist) gave an interesting workshop about food and how 21st April we can avoid eating too much or too little of it. 1st Team away against Gala Wilton We were shown how to eat “mindfully” .Dr Jen gave us insights Reserves home against Cribbs “A” into why we sometimes eat too much, or too little, and how we A Team home against De Veys Res could employ coping mechanisms to help us enjoy the food that we eat and feel positive about ourselves. 24th April Reserves home against Longwell A (KO 6pm) Don’t forget – next meeting on the 12th April Spring flower bouquet with Christine (Please bring a bunch of spring 25 April flowers) 1st Team home against Southmead CS Ath (KO 6.30 pm) POP UP café and craft morning 10th March Although the weather wasn’t great we served up a morning of fantastic crafts 28th April and a bustling café. Members kindly donated delicious cakes and A team home against Real Thornbury Res more than one person had an extra slice! Others cooked bacon butties, served endless cups of tea, washed up and folded raffle 5th May tickets. We were delighted to make £250 profit.
