Perfectly circular, 145 metres in diametre and probably a so far unknown Viking fortress built by King around 980.

For the first time in more than 60 years, a viking ring fortress has been discovered in Denmark.

The original function of the viking ring fortress is still a mystery for scientists and archaeologists and the sensational discovery gives a unique possibility to get new knowledge about the most famous fortresses of the .
