Mr. Hemanth P of 3rd Semester BCA participated in Junior National Rugby Championship held on 22nd July 2018 at SDAT Race Course Ground, Madurai, Tamilnadu. He represented Bangalore University in All India University Rugby Competition held at KIIT University Bhuwaneshwar, Odisha from 16th to 25th December 2018. He also, represented Bangalore University in All India University American football Competitions held at KIIT University Bhuwaneshwar, Odisha from 22nd to 29th March 2019.

Mr. Puneeth C of 5th Semester BCom attended the National Referee Exam and completed the Rules of World Taekwondo Federation Exam and represented State Level Taekwondo Championship at R L Jallappa Institute of Technology, Doddaballapura from 15th to 17th Oct 2018.
Mr.Ramesh L, Mr. Yogesh S, and Navya Raghu R of 3rd Semester B.Com participated in State Level Fencing Championship, 2018 held from 27th to 29th July 2018 at SFGC Yelahanka, Bangalore.
2nd Annual Short-pitch Cricket Tournament 2018-19
2nd Annual Short-pitch Cricket Tournament was conducted at NPUC Ground on Saturday,11th August 2018. The Winner’s Cup for the Short-pitch cricket tournament 2018-19 was bagged by 3rd Semester BBA students and 5th Semester BBA emerged as Runners Up.
5K Eco-freedom Run for Men and Women 2018-19
Our College and Outdoorsy sports management jointly conducted eco-freedom Run for 5K open Run for Men and Women on 26th August 2018 at Central College Cricket ground near Freedom park, Bangalore. Ms. Disha D M of 3rd semester B Com secured 2nd Place in Eco- Freedom Run. The race was inaugurated by Dr. Lingaraju, BU Director of Physical Education. Medals were distributed By Mr. Prakash, KHO-KHO Arjuna Awardee and Prof. Manohar Narajji, Director NGI.

Report on Annual Inter-Institutional Athletic Meet 2018-19
The 1st Annual Inter-Institutional Athletic Meet of NDC and NCMS was held on 19th September 2018 at NCET campus Ground. It was inaugurated by Dr. K. Srikanta Murthy, Principal NCET, the Chief Guest along with our Principal Dr. Bhavani M R
Dr. Anandamma, Principal, NCMS presided over the function. Good number of Students and all teaching and Non-Teaching Staff participated in various athletic events and won the prizes.
The overall individual championships were bagged by Ms. Disha D M of 3rd Sem B.Com NDC and Mr. Ankit Kumar of NCMS for women and men respectively. Prof Ajitha Krishna Prasad welcomed the gathering and Prof Rajanna R proposed the Vote of thanks.
Mr. K N Subramanya of 5th Sem B.com participated in Karnataka State Junior Kickboxing Championship 2018 at Bommanahalli, Bangalore held on 16th Sep 2018 and secured silver medal. He participated in B.U Inter-College Fencing Competition held on 30th Oct 2018 and secured 2nd place/Silver medal organized by SFGC, Yelahanka. He was also selected for Kick Boxing National Federation Cup Championship from 24th to 28th March 2019 held at Pune, Maharashtra and secured silver medal.
Mr. Shararth Somaiah of 1st Semester B.com Participated in JAVELIN THROW during the BCU Inter –college athletic Competition held at Sri Kanteerava Stadium, Bangalore and won Bronze medal/ 3rd Place, covering the distance of 36.90Mts
Ms. Manisha B G of 1st Semester M.com participated in State level championship 2018 at SFGC, Yelahanka from 27th to 29th July 2018 and won the Bronze medal. She participated in Karnataka CM cup 2018 from 10th to 16th Oct 2018 at Mysore.
Mr. Karthik B of 4th Semeter B.Com has represented BU in All India University Fencing Competition held at GNDU Amritsar from 4th to 15th January 2019.
Mr. Rakshith J 1st Sem B.Com has represented BCU in South Zone Inter University in Cricket Competition held at VTU Belgaum from 13th January 2019 to 18th January 2019.
Mr. Prajwal N 1st B.Com has represented BCU in South Zone Inter University in Kabaddi Tournament held at SRM University from 19th Dec 2018 to 23rd Dec 2018.

BANGALORE UNIVERSITY INTER COLLEGE AMERICAN FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT 2018 – 19
NDC hosted the Bangalore University Inter Collegiate American Football Tournament on 13th Feb 2019 in the Nagarjuna Vidyanikethan School Ground, Yelahanka. Various Colleges affiliated to Bangalore University took part in the Tournament. It was inaugurated by Dr. T Lingaraju, Director Physical Education, BUB who was the Chief Guest along with Mr. Sathish Gowda National American Football player. The function was presided by Prof. Manohar Narajji Director NGI. The Valedictory function of NDC American Football 2018 – 19 was organized in the Nagarjuna Vidyanikethan School ground Dr. Patel Mohammed Ilyas Director Physical Education, BCU and Mohammed Sibgathulla Jointly distributed the prizes. In his address he thanked the organization for inviting him to the function.
The Principal, Dr. Bhavani M R in her presidential address urged the players to play without anticipating any rewards.
The Winners Cup for the Inter Collegiate Tournament 2018 – 19 was bagged by NDC and Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies emerged as Runners Up.
