xperience the extraordinary, Eunique and glistening OUR ICEHOTEL at Jukkasjarvi deep in the heart of Swedish Lapland. Enjoy traditional Sami cuisine; Ice Break the Absolut Ice Bar; and snowmobile, reindeer and husky safaris for a thrilling holiday with a difference.

Our ‘Ice Break’ takes you up to the IceHotel in Swedish Lapland on early morning scheduled flights with SAS via Stockholm for a three night stay to which you can add your excursions to suit your needs (and budget). You can try your hand at ice sculpting under the tuition of an accomplished ice sculptor or test drive a Saab turbo on a an ice track used by professionals. All of the options shown opposite are pre-bookable and for those involving the use of an animal or something with an engine we strongly recommended doing so, as all get booked up very early. Extending your stay at the ICEHOTEL and safariing in the wilderness for an overnight stay in a log cabin is just one of the more adventurous options that are available and that we'll be happy to talk through with you. Each December, the celebrated ICEHOTEL is sculpted from 30,000 tons of snow and ice only to melt away each spring. Each year’s design differs, the final detail being revealed only when the last ice block is in place and the last bedroom finished. The hotel consists of the Absolut Bar, art gallery, consecrated chapel, ‘hall of pillars’ and a choice of snow rooms, ice rooms or art suites all sculpted from ice. Guests sleep in special thermal Arctic sleeping bags on frame beds topped with reindeer skins. ICE BREAK

elebrate New Year in a style Cpeculiar to Icelanders that attracts visitors from around the world not least because unlimited fireworks can be had Reykjavik by anyone which Icelanders take maximum advantage of and garland the city with displays. New Year Start the evening with our ‘Buffet on Ice’; blow out the Old Year on our bonfire tour; bring in Fire & Ice the New with champagne and fireworks and then dance the night away. Over the next few days, snowmobile across a glacier, search for the Northern Lights or simply chill out in the Blue Lagoon. Reykjavik is an unlikely city to warrant the description “as hip and happening as it is possible to be”. The shops are stylish and according to A.A. Gill, the women “the most beautiful in the world”. And the locals have developed a legendary and prodigious reputation for being able to enjoy themselves. This ultra-modernity and party town atmosphere dramatically contrasts with the island interior with its geologically sculpted scenery; glacial ice fields, sand deserts, lava fields, volcanoes, waterfalls and geysers.
