In the final episode of Gower on BBC Two Wales, members of the RNLI remember Gower’s lifeboat tragedy as they prepare for their annual hog roast and fundraiser. The Horton and Port Eynon lifeboat station that serves the Peninsula relies totally on donations from the general public, so a successful open day is essential.

Young surfer Milly competes for a place in the Welsh team, which could take her to the European championships in France. It’s her first year competing and she doesn’t always see eye to eye with her dad who's coaching her.

Although many Gower farmers have diversified, not many now host pagan weddings - a first at Windmill Farm, Llanrhidian, where Viv Pearce and partner Lynne have added a marquee to the traditional farm buildings.

Hillend caravan site owner Gareth Howells prepares a plot for local surfing hero PJ and wife Carol to escape the hustle and bustle of their family business. Meanwhile their son James takes part in the gruelling Ironman competition to raise funds for the Air Ambulance which probably saved his father’s life.

The latest in the series looking at prominent Welsh men and women through archive footage and interviews, Welsh Greats, features the much-loved comic actress, entertainer and star of , Doris Hare.

Born in Bargoed in 1905 into a travelling theatrical family, she made her stage debut as a babe-in-arms aged three weeks, and her first speaking part came at the age of three.

Her acting career, which spanned 84 years, mirrored the development of popular entertainment in the 20th Century, moving into variety shows and later onto radio, film and television stardom.

After starring in the West End and on Broadway, Doris became a familiar voice during the war on the radio series Shipmates Ashore. She later worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre and continued to play many parts well into her later years, but it was her role as ‘Mum’ in the much-loved On The Buses in the 60s and 70s which brought her widest fame.

COMING HOME: ROBERT GLENISTER Friday, December 14, BBC One Wales, 7.30pm This week, Watford-born actor Robert Glenister, who is best known for his role as con man Ash in the BBC series Hustle, travels west to the Gower peninsula in search of his family’s past. Having no prior knowledge of his Welsh family history, will Robert find any skeletons in his ancestors’ closets? In the last episode of Coming Home, Robert discovers that as well as coal miners, he is descended from a long line of skilled stone masons. And while visiting Oxwich Castle in the middle of its restoration, he turns his hand to the trade - learning the same technique and using the same tools as his ancestors. At the village of Penclawdd, he visits Michael Churchill Jones for the reading of his family tree. With an entirely Welsh family on his mother’s side, he learns of his Fry relatives, in particular his ancestral cousin, William Fry. At only five foot and two inches, he was refused entry to the British army and then embarked on a voyage to Sydney. But what would be his fate on the journey that dramatically changed his life? Gyda'r Nadolig yn agosáu, mae Cadno yn paratoi i ladd y twrcwn. Mae hefyd yn poeni am y moch daear felly gyda chymorth Mark, maent yn gosod maglau. Gall Eifion weld fod Cadno yn ymddwyn yn eithafol, ac wrth iddi golli diwrnod sy’n bwysig i Bobi, mae’n poeni ei bod yn colli golwg ar yr hyn sy’n bwysig iddi hi, hefyd.

Mae Sheryl yn gofidio am ddiogelwch Wil ac yn gofyn i Garry i roi stop ar y sefyllfa. Yn y gobaith o yrru neges glir i Moc nad oes croeso iddo yng Nghwmderi, nid yn unig mae’r pentrefwyr yn uno yn ei erbyn, ond mae Garry hefyd yn gadael ‘anrheg’ iddo ar ei stepen drws. Ond nid yw hyn yn ddigon i Sheryl sy’n taeru na ddylai Moc fyth ddychwelyd i’r pentref. Felly aiff Garry ati i wireddu ei dyhead ond ai Moc fydd yn ymladd am ei fywyd erbyn diwedd yr wythnos?

Mae treulio amser gydag Arwen yn gwneud i Jinx gwestiynu ei rôl fel tad y babi wrth iddo fethu gweld unrhyw debygrwydd rhyngthynt. Er mwyn clirio ei ben, mae Jinx yn cymryd amser wrtho’i hun ac, wedi dychwelyd, mae’n gofyn i Ffion am y gwirionedd. Ond a fydd hi’n ddigon dewr i’w ateb yn onest?

 With Christmas getting ever closer, Cadno busies herself with preparation for slaughtering the turkeys. She’s also still obsessing over the badgers and she and Mark put down a few snares, thinking they can control the situation. Eifion can see that Cadno is taking things too far as she misses an important milestone for Bobi and worries that she’s losing sight of what really matters.

Sheryl worries that Moc is targeting Wil as his next victim and urges Garry to ‘sort him out’. Wanting to send a clear message that Moc isn’t welcome in Cwmderi any more, not only do most of the villagers gang up against him, but Garry leaves him a little present on his doorstep. This isn’t enough for Sheryl and she puts pressure on Garry to ensure Moc never returns to the village. So Garry sets out to honour Sheryl’s wishes but a case of mistaken identity leaves Meic fighting for his life.

Spending time alone with Arwen makes Jinx question whether he actually is her father as he struggles to see any resemblance between them. Jinx takes some time out to clear his head and upon his return, asks Ffion for the truth. Will she be brave enough to answer honestly?
