1. THE MILITARY ORDER OF THE PURPLE HEART LEADERSHIP AWARD: This award recognizes an outstanding cadet who is enrolled in the SROTC program and demonstrates leadership ability. The cadet selected for this award must have a positive attitude toward SROTC and country, hold a leadership position in the Corps of Cadets, be active in school and community affairs and attain a grade of “B” or better in all subjects for the previous semester.

BRYAN AVILES-ORTIZ – MS III

2. NATIONAL SOCIETY DAUGHTERS OF FOUNDERS AND PATRIOTS OF AMERICA AWARD: Presented annually by the Philadelphia Chapter to a cadet enrolled in the ROTC Program who best evidences those qualities of character and devotion to duty which made our country great. Must be in the top 25 percent of the SROTC class.

3. THE PENNSYLVANIA SOCIETY OF THE FOUNDERS AND PATRIOTS OF AMERCA AWARD: Presented by the Philadelphia Chapter to a Cadet who demonstrates those qualities of character and devotion to duty which made our country great.

4. THE AMERICAN LEGION GENERAL MILITARY EXCELLENCE AWARD: One medal to a cadet in the Senior Division ROTC (MS III or IV) in the upper quarter of his class in academic standing including ROTC who has demonstrated outstanding qualities of military leadership, discipline, character and citizenship. Presented annually by the Delaware County Committee of the American Legion. Established in 1966 in memory of Colonel Charles C. Allen, United States Army.

KYLE BERNER (Cabrini College) – MS III

5. THE SONS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION MEDAL: Presented annually by the Philadelphia Continental Chapter to a Senior ROTC MS I or MS II cadet who has shown a high degree of merit with respect to leadership, soldierly bearing, and all around excellence in the Army ROTC program of studies or activities.

6. THE PHILADELPHIA CHAPTER, MILITARY ORDER OF WORLD WARS AWARD: Medal and citation presented to one cadet per class in the SROTC program with satisfactory academic and tactical records who have distinguished themselves by outstanding achievements in Military Science and Leadership Development.

7. THE PHILADELPHIA CHAPTER, MILITARY ORDER OF WORLD WARS LEADERSHIP AWARD: Presented annually to a member the Sophomore Class, SROTC, who best typifies the spirit of ROTC leadership.

8. THE RESERVE OFFICERS’ ASSOCIATION AWARD: This award is presented annually to outstanding cadets of the SROTC Program. The recipients must be in the top ten percent of their ROTC class and have demonstrated outstanding qualities of leadership, moral character and a high aptitude for military service.

9. THE MILITARY OFFICERS ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA (MOAA) MEDAL: Presented annually to one MS III cadet in the Senior ROTC with satisfactory academic standing who demonstrates outstanding qualities of military leadership, discipline, character and citizenship.

10. THE AMERICAN VETERANS OF WORLD WAR II MEDAL: Presented annually to that SROTC Cadet in either MS III or MS IV for diligence in the discharge of duty, the willingness to serve both God and country and excellence in military and scholastic grades.

JEFFREY DUDICK – MS III

11. THE NATIONAL SOJOURNERS MEDAL: Presented annually to an outstanding Cadet in the SROTC Program. The SROTC Cadet must be a sophomore (MS II or MS III) and must be in the top 25 percent of their academic class, have encouraged and demonstrated the ideals of Americanism and demonstrated a potential for outstanding leadership.

12. THE DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION SROTC MEDAL: Presented by the Great Valley Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution for attaining the top twenty-fifth percentile in academic and military classes and demonstrating qualities of loyalty, patriotism and dependability.

CYNTHIA FILPO-DIAZ – MS IV

13. NATIONAL GUARD ASSOCIATION OF PENNSYLVANIA AWARD: Presented annually to that cadet of the Senior Division of the ROTC who demonstrates high military proficiency, scholastic achievement, exemplary conduct and, further, who evidences an aptitude for the military service and must be a member of a National Guard unit.

STEPHEN MAYONE-PAQUIN – MS IV

14. THE ASSOCIATION OF THE UNITED STATES ARMY ROTC MEDAL: This award is presented annually to one MS III cadet of the Senior ROTC program who has contributed the most through leadership to advance the standing of the ROTC unit and the Military Science Department. The recipient is in the top 10% of his ROTC class and in the top 25% of his class.

15. THE ASSOCIATION OF THE UNITED STATES ARMY ROTC MILITARY HISTORY BOOK AWARD: This award is presented annually to that cadet of the Senior ROTC Program who has contributed the most, through leadership, to advance the standing of the ROTC Unit and the Military Science Department.

16. THE STEUBEN DAY OBSERVANCE ASSOCIATION AWARD: Presented annually to that cadet of the College enrolled in the SROTC who has written the best essay on the subject: “The Contribution of General Von Steuben to the Army,” or “The Contribution of German Americans to the Armed Forces of the United States.”

17. NATIONAL SOCIETY UNITED STATES DAUGHTERS OF 1812: Presented to that SROTC Cadet who has demonstrated qualities of Academic Excellence, Leadership, Military Discipline, Dependability, Patriotism and upright character in speech and habits, which exemplify the ideals upon which our Nation was founded.

18. THE MILITARY ORDER OF FOREIGN WARS OF THE UNITED STATES MEDAL: Presented annually to a SROTC cadet in the College for outstanding leadership, loyalty and devotion to duty.

MARINA TORCHIA – MS IV

19. THE VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS OF THE UNITED STATES ROTC MEDAL: Presented annually to an outstanding SROTC cadet.

NOREEZA KHAN – MS IV

20. THE SCOTTISH AMERICAN MILITARY SOCIETY DIRK AWARD: Presented annually to that cadet of the College graduating class who has excelled in Military Science and who will continue leadership development in the military service or service academies.

CALEB GILLETT – MS IV

21. THE MILITARY ORDER OF THE LOYAL LEGION OF THE UNITED STATES: Presented to that cadet of the ROTC who has excelled in Military Science and who perpetuates the memory of those who fought to preserve the unity and indivisibility of the Republic of the United States of America.

JASON HANG – MS IV

22. THE DEPARTMENT OF THE ARMY CADET DECORATION AWARD: Presented to the outstanding cadet in each class of the SROTC. Cadet must be in top 25 percent in SROTC and academic standing. Selection is based on demonstrated officer potential.

23. THE STONE MEDAL: Presented annually to that cadet who has maintained a high average in each class of the SROTC Program. The cadet must have maintained a high degree of esprit de corps and indicated an unusual aptitude for the military service.

24. THE NATIONAL DEFENSE INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION AWARD: Presented annually to that cadet of the SROTC who is in the upper half of the class academically, received a “B” or above in all ROTC course grades, participates actively in athletics and who demonstrates outstanding leadership qualities.

TYLER ECCLES – MS IV

25. THE SOCIETY OF THE WAR OF 1812 AWARD: Presented annually to one outstanding College Sophomore Cadet enrolled in the SROTC Program with a satisfactory academic and tactical record and of high moral character. Established in 1984 by the Society of the War of 1812, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

26. USAA MILITARY AFFAIR SPIRIT AWARD: Presented annually to that Cadet who exemplifies the concept of service to his/her unit, community or the nation.

27. THE NATIONAL DEFENSE TRANSPORTATION ASSOCIATION: Presented annually in recognition of that Cadet who demonstrates outstanding achievements in the SROTC Program.
