Credit: Students take a minimum of 20 ECTS and a maximum of 30 ECTS per semester, or between 45 and 50 ECTS per academic year.
Academic Supports: All visiting undergraduates are provided with a Personal Tutor who is available to assist with any academic or personal issues or concerns. The Office of Student Learning and Development is also available to help with any academic concerns: http://student-learning.tcd.ie/. The Study Abroad Team are also available for any concerns or questions that might arise.

Housing & Accommodation

Support: Trinity offers a number of orientation services for visiting students, including orientation sessions with practical information, cultural adjustment sessions, introductions to Trinity, tours of campus, Global Room events, and drop-in advising hours throughout the semester.
The Study Abroad Team is available throughout the year to advise students, parents, and university partners.

Insurance
All students are advised to take Travel and Health Insurance for the duration of their studies. Students arriving from outside of the EU should contact their health insurance companies to determine if they are covered while studying abroad. Sufficient private health insurance cover is required for you to register with INIS. If you are utilising your insurance from your home country for your stay in Ireland, please ensure that it meets Immigration requirements. A local plan bought in Ireland will cost in the region of €1000 per year.
