An interested bidder must be a tax payer entity and the name of firm of bidder or the bidder as individual, should be on Active Tax Payer List of FBR. 3. All interested bidders on submission of a written application alongwith a copy of NTN Certificate, can purchase bidding document from the office of Dy. Director (FR/HB) during office hours from 30th April, 2019 against a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousands) in shape of Bank Draft or Pay Order in favour of “National Highway Authority, Road Maintenance Accounts, Islamabad”. The bidding document (RFP) can also be downloaded from NHA’s website i.e. www.nha.gov.pk free of cost. 4. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled to be held on 7th May, 2019 in NHA Auditorium, Islamabad at 1100 hrs. The bid submission date shall be 16th May, 2019 in NHA Auditorium till 1100 hrs and the same shall be opened on same day in the presence of interested bidders or their authorized representatives at 1130 hrs. Bids will not be received after the due time. 5. The bidder(s) who are in default with NHA or any other Govt. Deptt. are not eligible to participate in the bidding. However, the bidder(s) whose case are/is already in courts as sub-judice matter or dispute is in process at NHA the said bidder(s) shall not be treated as defaulter(s) and their bids will be considered for award subject to resolution of matter with the permission by NHA. 6. The bidder shall provide an undertaking on Judicial Stamp paper duly notarized that the bidder is not defaulter of any Govt. Deptt. including NHA, as well as not blacklisted anywhere from Pakistan. 7. In case of bid submission by the authorized representatives of Interested bidders, the bidders are requested to submit, at the time of bid submission, Written Confirmation (Power of Attorney) authorizing the person to submit and sign the bid on their behalf. 8. It is informed to all bidders that if 1st & 2nd highest bidders do not accept the Letter of Acceptance and opts for the forfeiture of their bid securities, the said firms will be blacklisted and thus will not be eligible to participate in any such bidding i.e. OM&MC of Bus Bays. 9. The bidders providing unsubstantiated and / or incorrect information are liable to disqualification and legal action. 10. The Authority reserves the right to reject all bids at any time prior to the acceptance of a bid in accordance with PPRA Rules. Main objective of the study is to find out the new cropping pattern emerged after the construction of the dam. Site visits and detailed discussions with the people of the study area and officials of the line departments were made to get required information. The results of the study show that due to irrigation water from Qibla Bandi Dam, the yield per acre has increased. Now more preference is given to cash crops such as groundnut, mustard, maize, tobacco, sugarcane and vegetables. Some suitable measures are proposed for sustainable development of the study area.
