Notice is hereby given that Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council propose to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act.

The Order will have the effect of creating a new weight limit restriction along the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 1 below.

Full details of the proposals are contained in the draft Order which, together with a map showing the affected lengths of road and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined on the Council’s website (Traffic Orders) or by contacting the Community Services and Transport Directorate on 01642 526709 / [email protected] if you require hard copies of the proposals sending in the post.
