Archery World Cup September 20 10 Final 2010 Edinburgh ARCHERY WORLD CUP The fifth Archery World Cup Final took place on 18-19 Final 2010 Edinburgh September 2010 in Edinburgh, Scotland’s capital city. En estos tres eventos nuestros deportistas lograron subir al podio. Los Juegos Panamericanos dieron inicio en Lima el día 26. Nuestro deporte comienza sus actividades el 7 de agosto y concluye el día 11 en la misma fecha en que se clausuran los Juegos. El 25 de julio representé a World Archery Americas en la Asamblea General de Pan Am Sports, encuentro en que se abordaron temas de gran importancia para el desarrollo del deporte en nuestro continente. A muchos de nuestros presidentes de federaciones los estaré viendo muy pronto en nuestra Asamblea General el día 5 de agosto, y luego durante nuestro torneo en Lima. Estoy segura de que tendremos un hermoso evento y que todos nuestros arqueros disfrutarán de la competencia y de los Juegos en general. Ú 1995 will see a busy schedule of major championships: 23-26 March III World Indoor Championships Birmingham, GBR 11-26 March XII Pan American Games Mar del Plata, ARG 1- 6 August XXXVIII World Target Championships Jakarta, INA 24-29 August I European Junior Championships Lilleshall, GBR 28 Aug.-3 Sep. XI European Field Championships Lillehammer, NOR 26-30 September I African Championships Harare, ZIM Archery will also be a featured sport in the X Pacific Games to be held in Tahiti in August. Ú A frenzy of record breaking highlighted the 1994 season, with 14 Olympic Division records set or tied by men and 11 new or tied records by women. Among the most impressive was the perfect 30 m score of 360 points (36 arrows) by Korea's Seung- Hoon Han and an 18-arrow Olympic Round record by Kazakhstan's Vadim Chikarev of 175 points. Ú The Compound Division exploded in 1994 as new records were set in every men's category and in seven of 11 women's categories. Compound competitions were held for the first time in the World Junior Championships, the Championships of the Americas and the Championships of Europe and the Mediterranean. The Compound Division will be contested for the first time ever in the World Target Archery Championships in 1995. Ú The FITA achieved a historic milestone when its president was named as a member of the International Olympic Committee. -

Kremer (USA) MEMBER ASSOCIATIONS Recently FITA was informed that the retired FITA Judge Mr Updates Harold R. Kremer passed away on 6 February 2007. The ANTI-DOPING cause of his death was congestive heart failure due to Registered Testing Pool complications related to Myasthenia Gravis. EVENTS 2007 Olympic Test Event Harold Kremer was born on 29 May 1921. Archery was a South Pacific Games passion of his that started in the late sixties and lasted until FUTURE EVENTS he died. He continued to shoot until 2005 when his failing World Cup 2008 strength would no longer allow him to do so. Harold was a Indoor Worlds 2009 US, International and Olympic Judge. He was the USA Asian Games 2010 Archery Team manager for the 1980 Olympics. FITA Congress 2011 October 20 10 Documents Submission FITA CONGRESS 2011 Following the awarding of the organisation of the 2011 World Documents Submission Archery Championships and World Archery Para FISU Championships to Turin, Italy, the next FITA Congress will Steering Committee follow the tradition of taking place in the same place and right WORLD ARCHERY ACTIVITIES before the championships start. Therefore, the 2011 Congress FITA President will take place on 1-2 July 2011 in Turin.
