HARRY ELMER BARNES the Barnes Review a JOURNAL of POLITICALLY INCORRECT HISTORY BRINGING HISTORY INTO ACCORD WITH THE FACTS IN THE TRADITION OF DR. HARRY ELMER BARNES The Barnes Review A JOURNAL OF POLITICALLY INCORRECT HISTORY HIDDEN HISTORY VOLUME XXIV NUMBER 4 JULY/AUGUST 2018 WWW.BARNESREVIEW.COM The Secret Origins of the First World War ere’s a new theory on how World War I started—not with the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, but rather 10 years earlier, by power-hungry men whose Hlies have infiltrated history. Thomas W. Lamont noted that, “as a result of four years of war and global devastation, the national debts of the world have increased by $210 billion or about 475%.” Historian Alan Brugar pointed out that “for every soldier who died in battle in World War I, the international bankers made a profit of $10,000.” Hidden History uniquely exposes those responsible for World War I. It reveals how accounts of the war’s origins have been deliberately falsified to conceal the guilt of the secret cabal of very rich and powerful men in London responsible for the most heinous crime perpetrated on humanity. For 10 years, they plotted the destruction of Germany as part of their plan for global control. The assassination of the archduke was no chance happening. It lit a fuse that had been carefully set through a chain of command stretching from Sarajevo through Belgrade and St. Petersburg back to the banking cabal in London. Our understanding of these events has been firmly trapped in a web of duplicity constructed by the victors. Now find out who and how the financial movers and shakers of the era or- chestrated and funded the war to make profits and establish complete control over the governments of the world. Davidson’s North Carolina militia, numbering between 600 and 800 men, set up camp on the far side of the river, hoping to thwart or at least slow Cornwallis’ crossing. The Patriots stayed back from the banks of the river in order to prevent Lieutenant Colonel Banastre Tartleton’s forces from fording the river at a different point and surprising the Patriots with a rear attack. At 1 a.m., Cornwallis began to move his troops toward the ford; by daybreak, they were crossing in a double-pronged formation–one prong for horses, the other for wagons. The noise of the rough crossing, during which the horses were forced to plunge in over their heads in the storm-swollen stream, woke the sleeping Patriot guard. The Patriots fired upon the Britons as they crossed and received heavy fire in return. Almost immediately upon his arrival at the river bank, General Davidson took a rifle ball to the heart and fell from his horse; his soaked corpse was found late that evening. Although Cornwallis’ troops took heavy casualties, the combat did little to slow their progress north toward Virginia.

  • Polish Death Camps Obrona
December 2019 (REVISED) Why it matters not to refer to Nazi German camps as “Polish” The story you won’t find in the North American mainstream media Poland’s new anti-defamation law has sparked an avalanche of alarmist commentary and harsh criticism.1 Extravagant claims have been made about the scope and intent of the law as, allegedly, suppressing discussion of Second World War crimes committed by Poles. Outrageous charges, often accompanied by unbridled hysteria, are being levelled against the Polish government, which is accused of “Holocaust denial” and even anti-Semitism. The Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee of the Knesset declared that “the Polish law is a crime and we will not allow it to happen.” Jack Rosen, President of the American Jewish Congress and chairman of the American Council for World Jewry, goes even further, claiming that Poland has put itself “in the same team as Iran and other Islamic terror states and the alt-right in the US and Holocaust deniers.” The anti-defamation law has also released pent-up aggression against Poles. However, the North American media rarely, if ever, mentions this aspect in the tsunami of articles critical of Poland. They show no apparent concern for the many rancorous statements by prominent Jews mentioned later on. In fact, the 1 On January 26, 2018 and February 1, 2018, respectively, the Seym (lower chamber) and Senate of the Polish Parliament passed legislation, commonly referred to as an “anti-defamation law,” which was proclaimed into law on February 6, 2019 by Poland’s President. It was an amendment to the 1998 Act on the Institute of National Remembrance – Commission for the Prosecution of Crimes against the Polish Nation.

  • Karl Popper and Conspiracy Theories in Polish Political Thought Joanna Diane Caytas, Columbia University
Karl Popper and Conspiracy Theories in Polish Political Thought Joanna Diane Caytas, Columbia University Abstract: Over the last century, Polish national discourse and political culture have produced an uncommonly high incidence of conspiracy theories. A similar tendency can be shown to occur among expatriates, even those one or two generations removed from the home land. Two hundred fifty years of partitions between hostile neighbors resulting in deprivation of a national identity, along with systematic oppression by the occupants’ secret police, and a tradition of uprisings and mass emigration recurring generation after generation account for some of the propensity for conspiracy theories. Karl Raimund Popper recognized conspiracy theories as psychologically anamorphous phenomena based on flawed cognitive patterns and misguided axiomatic beliefs that the more consequential an event, the less likely it is to be random or unintended. This paper examines Polish evidence of Popper’s diagnosis of a widespread aversion to attributing significant events to good or bad luck and of an assumption of an underlying intentional order. Many conspiracy theories go wrong not by mistakenly assuming intentional actors but their identity, motives, or degree of coordination. The common denominator of all conspiracy theories is a misjudgment of the forces of randomness, invisible hand mechanisms, or accidentally disproportionate consequences of relatively minor causes and/or overestimation of the possibility of maintaining control and secrecy of conspiracies in open societies. While not a universal panacea, simple interest analysis can dispel the notion of conspiracy but it can also form part of the misleading theory itself. Keywords: Poland, Karl Popper, Conspiracy Theories, Politics, Rhetoric and Communication, Discourse.

Kulikovsky and his wife Ludmila visited Vyatka. They were invited by the regional public organization "Revival of Vyatka". Paul E. Kulikovsky - "Kirov, or Vyatka as we prefer to call the city, was one of the places on our "to-visit-list", as we want to visit all the places in Russia directly related to the Romanovs, and especially those in which the Romanovs were in exile after the revolution. That is why first of all were visited Romanov related locations and city landmarks. But for the local citizens the main event was a presentation of the book of memoirs of Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrovna “25 Chapters of my life”, followed by a press- conference. City history The city is actually called Kirov - in honour of one of the Stalin co- workers – Sergei Kirov killed in 1934 – but many citizens still use the historical name Vyatka. It was established in 1174. From 1457 to 1780 it was called Khlynov, from 1780 to 1934 Vyatka, and now Kirov. It is the administrative centre of the Kirov region and located on the Vyatka River, 896 km northeast of Moscow. Population is about 507,155 (2018).

Romanov News Новости Романовых By Paul Kulikovsky №78 October 2014 150 years since the birth of Holy Martyr Grand Duchess Elisabeth Feodorovna By Paul Kulikovsky Born on 1st of November (old style 20 October) 1864, Her Grand Ducal Highness Princess Elisabeth Alexandra Louise Alice of Hessen and by Rhine, was the second child of Grand Duke Ludwig IV of Hessen and by Rhine and British Princess Alice. Through her mother, she was a granddaughter of Queen Victoria. Princess Alice chose the name "Elisabeth" for her daughter after visiting the shrine of St. Elisabeth of Hungary, ancestress of the House of Hessen. Elisabeth was known as "Ella" within her family. In the autumn of 1878, diphtheria swept through the Hessen household, killing Elisabeth's youngest sister, Marie on 16 November, as well as her mother Alice on 14 December. Elisabeth was considered by many contemporaries as one of the most beautiful women in Europe at that time. Many became infatuated with Elisabeth, but it was Russian Grand Duke Sergei Alexandrovich who ultimately won Elisabeth's heart. Sergei and Elisabeth married on 15 (3) June 1884, at the Chapel of the Winter Palace in St. Petersburg. She became Grand Duchess Elisabeth Feodorovna. “Everyone fell in love with her from the moment she came to Russia from her beloved Darmstadt”, wrote one of Sergei's cousins. The couple settled in the Beloselsky-Belozersky Palace in St. Petersburg, but after Sergei was appointed Governor-General of Moscow by his elder brother, Tsar Alexander III, in 1892, they resided in the Governor palace. During the summer, they stayed at Ilyinskoe, an estate outside Moscow that Sergei had inherited from his mother.

the life of saint elizabeth, the grand duchess of russia convent of st elizabeth the grand duchess of russia p.o. box 126, 225 forest walk etna, ca 96027 usa The Holy New Martyr Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna by Metropolitan Anastassy Not every generation is destined to meet along its path such a blessed gift from heaven as was the Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna for her time, for she was a rare combination of exalted Christian spirit, moral nobility, enlightened mind, gentle heart, and refined taste. She possessed an extremely delicate and multifaceted spiritual composition and her outward appearance reflected the beauty and greatness of her spirit. Upon her brow lay the seal of an inborn, elevated dignity which set her apart from those around her. Under the cover of modesty, she often strove, though in vain, to conceal herself from the gaze of others, but one could not mistake her for another. Wherever she appeared, one would always ask: “Who is she who looketh forth as the morning, clear as the sun” (Song of Solomon 6:10)? Wherever she would go she emanated the pure fragrance of the lily. Perhaps it was for this reason that she loved the color white—it was the reflection of her heart. All of her spiritual qualities were strictly balanced, one against another, never giving an impression of one-sided- ness. Femininity was joined in her to a courageous character; her goodness never led to weakness and blind, unconditional trust of people. Even in her finest heartfelt inspirations she exhibited that gift of discernment which has always been so highly esteemed by Christian ascetics.
