Seabreeze Ladies Shuffle Club 2018-2019 Season The season has come to an end for the Ladies Shuffle and they did a spectacular job again this year. With a total of 348 games played the ladies won 253 putting Seabreeze in first place. A big THANK YOU to all the team members as it truly takes the whole team to have this happen. Tournaments were played on March 4th and 5th at Plantation Village with 7 of our team members participating. Jan Gandy came in 4th in the Main. The end of season banquet held at Plantation Village with 12 of our team members attending. We look forward to the new season and hope to pick up some new residents to join our team. This years team members were, Pam Carr (Co Captain), Tootsie Coleman, Carolea Fox, Judy Furgason, Jan Gandy (Captain), Stephanie Hymes, Mutt Jones, Joanne LeBlanc, Helen Lunsford, Karen Natemeier, Janice O'Sullivan, Joyce Reinke, Sharon Stuart, Bertha Snyder, Kay Thoreson and Judy Wood. This was done to have cash on hand, but was not to be spent on anything else in order that the money could be reimbused when people moved out. Ray has the highest regard for John Smilde and although there are always things to change, he says so is life. "John has always been an honest man to me, and I remember going to HOA meetings where other parks would complain because they couldn't ever get hold of the management of their parks, and we are fortunate to have John right here". Ray says their highlight now is Saturday morning coffee. It's a great time to visit and catch up on the news. I asked them what advice would they have to pass on to residents of the park. Ray's reply is to get involved. This is your life! "Young people, we need your help. Your are part of this community and we want your input to keep our park alive and healthy for everyone". So for now, we say so long and wish Ray and Peg the very best.
