About the Artists

Dina Perez (She/Her/Hers) is a junior BFA Major with a Music Minor. Before pursuing her education at Drake, she went to the Chicago High School for the Arts as a Musical Theatre Major. In her time at Drake, Dina has been in both musicals and plays including the national premiere of Electra, Catch Me If You Can, and more. This spring she will be playing Jack's Mom in . Dina would like to thank her friends, family, and professors for their support and is excited to share some songs tonight with one of her best friends. Lastly, a special thank you to Dr. Gruber and Ling-Yu Hsiao for all the help they have given her to grow as a vocalist.

Cece Sanchez (She/Her/Hers) is a junior BFA Musical Theatre and BA Law, Politics, and Society double major from Austin, TX. She has loved performing and singing since she was a little girl, her first performances being radio sing-alongs during family road trips. In her time at Drake she has had the opportunity to perform in both main stage and black box productions, including This Is Our Youth, Time Is Short, As You Like It, and The Bling Ring. This spring she will be the understudy for the role of Stepmother in Into the Woods. Cece would like to send love to her friends and especially to her family back in Texas. She would also like to say thank you to her voice instructor, Dr. Rebecca Gruber, and her accompanist, Ling-Yu Hsiao, for believing in her and constantly pushing her to be better!
