QUIET ON SET Page 2 of 11 ABOUT THE SHOW SHOW SYNPOSIS

When a young actress steps into the make-up trailer formerly occupied by Judy Garland, Grace Kelly, Debbie Reynolds, Ginger Rogers, and Kathryn Grayson, the spirit of these legends creeps into her own work.

Quiet On Set was created by Lauren Lee Innis-Youren under the mentorship of Joseph Simons through the SunPAC Emerging Creatives Program. The show started as a show case of musical numbers from the Golden Age of cinema as sung by the stars of that time. As work-shopping progressed, Lauren and Joseph decided the show needed a story, and through discussion the concept of a young actress getting her break was born. The actress is inspired by the icons of the past, and her journey takes us through her first moments on set, learning the ropes of Hollywood, to becoming a star herself.

The show is set inside a trailer on a Hollywood studios lot, and showcases song from Singing In The Rain, The Barkley’s of Broadway, The Wizard of Oz, Anchor’s Aweigh, and many more.
