Cupellation Furnace Furnace CF 24 SCF 4 Furnaces – for the assay of precious metals

Carbolite Gero cupellation furnaces are designed for testing using the cupellation, or assay test, method to ISO 11426:2014, a standard test method used to determine their purity.

The test method produces hazardous vapours. When used within a suitable fume management system, the cupellation furnaces are designed to handle the vapours without exposing the operator to these hazards. The design of the cupellation furnace range ensures protection from the corrosive environment which would damage a conventional furnace.

The Carbolite Gero range of robust top loading crucible furnaces are specifically designed for the smelting of SCF 4 precious metals and have gained in international reputation for close temperature uniformity, low heat loss and maximum fume control. Standard features
