George A. Pagano Memorial Scholarship Established by Mr. Pagano’s family, this award is presented to a senior who excels academically, displays high standards of personal behavior and is a concerned caring individual.
McGlone/Zulli Memorial Scholarship James J. McGlone, a longtime resident of Springfield, was an active member of his community. After his death in 1965, friends touched by his character and camaraderie created this scholarship fund to recognize a student involved in school and community.
Braunsdorf - Springfield Area Educational Foundation Scholarship This is our most prestigious award and was made possible by Mrs. James Braunsdorf in memory of her son. SAEF is proud to provide funding to support and sustain the Braunsdorf-SAEF Scholarship. This award is given to a senior who best exemplifies concern for others, participation in activities, academic achievement and has earned the respect of their peers to an unusual degree.
Florence D. Scioscia Memorial Scholarship Mrs. Scioscia was a teacher in the Springfield School District from October, 1963 to October, 1983. She was a caring and concerned individual and respected by all who knew her. This award is given annually to a student exemplifying all the traits for which Mrs. Scioscia is best remembered.
The Etha W. and Max Michelson Scholarship Established by Michael ('69) in honor of his parents Etha W. and Max and his brother David Michelson ('73). This award is presented annually to a senior who displays high academic achievement, is well respected by their peers, participates in extra-curricular student activities and displays care and respect for family and friends.
