It is formed by a pluridisciplinar team of young but experienced professionals, educated in the items of environmental sciences, engineering, biology, land planning and environmental education. Limonium offers its experience to companies, public administrations and individuals, and because of this, two different working teams have been created: environmental consulting and communication and environmental education. Limonium spp. Limonium is the latin name of a genus of plants named Sea-Lavanders or Statice in English. They belong to the famíly Plumbaginaceae, being small and generally linked to salty environments (salty marshes, inland and coastal salty soils and first coastal line). They consist morfologically on a basal rosette of leafs, usually fleshy, and long floral stems, with colors that change from white to violet through pink. The essence of genus Limonium defines the philosophy of our company: • Diversity: genus Limonium has more than 100 species in the Iberian Peninsula • Adaptation to local conditions: there is a different Limonium in almost every different cliff or salty marsh. • Adaptation to difficult conditions: Limonium plants always grow in difficult environments, in places that are harsh for other species. • Humility: Limonium are always humble plants, that know their limitations and that only flower when conditions are proper.

It consists of 27 towns (15 in the Valencian Community: Benicarló, Càlig, Canet lo Roig, Castell de Cabres, Cervera del Maestre, Herbés, La Jana, Morella, La Pobla de Benifassà, Rossell, San Rafael del Río, Sant Jordi / San Jorge, Traiguera, Vallibona y Vinaròs; 9 in Catalonia: Alcanar, Freginals, La Galera, Godall, Mas de Barberans, Sant Carles de la Ràpita, Santa Bàrbara, La Sénia and Ulldecona; and 3 in Aragon: Beceite / Beseit, Peñarroya de Tastavins / Pena-roja de Tastavins y Valderrobres / Vall de Roures), all found at the intersection of the 3 ancient kingdoms of the Aragon Crown (Valencian Community, Catalonia and Aragon). 5. The Bilbao contest, however, is particularly interesting because it takes place in the middle of the city, in an urban environment. The jury will select 20 projects, which will be carried out and remain exhibited for a period of two months. This way, people will see the gardens as they walk around the city streets and squares, a fascinating, formative and fun route of urban discovery. The winner will be given the opportunity to design a new garden in the city; this way, the efforts of the contestants will not be forgotten. Also, five prestigious creators will design an off-contest garden and form part of the jury. 4 Gardens from invited creatives In this edition, four creators design their own gardens: Oscar Tusquets and Cerabella Javier Mariscal Ailanto Ouka Leele The fifth garden is executed by the Contest Consultant, prestigious landscape gardener Artur Bossy, with the ideas from five emblematic cooks from the city which express the essence from Bilbao cooking.
