Bali itinerary 4 days pdf Continue Bali, Indonesia has a special place in our hearts and one of our favorite places that we have been. We know. Everyone raves about Bali with people spending months here and even honeymooning in Bali. There is a good reason – the beauty of nature, wonderful adventures, picturesque landscapes, friendly locals, delicious food, the best waterfalls, sacred temples, culinary lessons and more. We had a limited time in Bali (only four days) and made the most of it! Here is a recommended Bali route of 4 days to maximize your time and serve as an introduction to island life on your first visit. We originally planned to spend the weekend, but 2 days in Bali is not enough! With this route, it includes where to go and what to see in Bali in 4 days, what to do, places to eat, transport, accommodation and what to consider. It also assumes that you have four days dedicated to exploring Bali. Are you ready to explore this wonderful and beautiful island? As you can see with our itinerary, we did not get the opportunity to visit South Bali, for example, Canggu, Seminyak (where you can try amazing cafes), Nusa Dua, Nusa Islands (Nusa Penida (you will need at least two days)), on the western side, or Gili Islands (where you can swim with turtles). There is too much to see in Bali! In the future, we will take us back to explore more areas. If you have more time to explore, check out this post on how to spend 10 days in Bali or our 2 weeks itinerary. You want to have more time on the island. Bali Route Day 1 - Arrival you have arrived at Ngurah Rai (Denpasar) International or Domestic Airport. Hooray! Depending on where you flew, you'll be wired and ready to explore the area or take advantage of a long flight. If you have energy, consider spending some time in Kuta and Tanah Lot before leaving for your hotel location. Kuta Kuta is the closest airport and takes less than 10 minutes by taxi to go to this well-known beach resort area. It is packed with tourists, especially in the evening with a party scene. The area is as good as a day trip or one night, but you do not need to spend a very long time in Kuta, as there are other more picturesque places to visit. Some of the best things to do in Kuta are surfing, shopping and relaxing on the beach. Visit one or all of the following beaches: Kuta Beach, Pantai Jerman Beach and Pantai Segara Beach. One of the unique About Pantai Jerman Beach is that the end of the pedestrian road has to airport, so you will see planes landing and departing from the runway. It's a great view. Tanah Lot Tanah Lot is one of the iconic temples in Bali and is unique as the temple area is located along the edge of the cliff. It is located 20km (20 km) from Kuta, which is close to visiting. Before entering the main area of the temple, you walk along a hiking trail with shops and restaurants. Relax with ice cream and your choice of toppings from coconut shell. It is best to visit Tanah Lot in the early morning or late afternoon/sunset. If you can in time to flood, really check it out when the tide is at low tide, so you can walk straight to the temple. Otherwise, you will see a temple from the mainland, which is still a great view. Just heads up that this place is very crowded. Tanah Lot Entrance Fee: 60,000 IDR ($4.20) adults, 30,000 IDR ($2.10) children Address: Beraban, Kediri, Tabanan Regency, Bali 8217, Indonesia Book a sunset tour tanah lot here. Visiting Tanah Lot is a great start for your four days in Bali! Recommended restaurant near Tanah Lot Warung Cantik As an introduction to Balinese food, this place is delicious! Warungs are small, local restaurants in low-key environments and affordable. It was an amazing place to stop after our visit to Tanah Lot. You cannot go wrong with any menu items. We highly recommend Ikan Bakar Gurami (water carp) fish and molluscs. The food had bold flavors and oh so delicious. After a hot day, refreshing coconuts refresh. Enjoy your food by sitting in the gazebo and take a look at the rice fields. Address: Jl. Iki Pass Tanah Lot, Cemagi, Mengwi, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80351, Indonesia Whew! It was a long day. You are ready to go to your hotel to check in. If you have extra energy, explore the space, grab dinner, and/or get a good night's rest. You deserve sleep. Bali Route Day 2 – Explore North Bali We're at a new beginning to explore and heading north of Bali. It is a day of exploring nature and also experiencing fewer crowd attractions. Here are some recommended things to do in North Bali in one day. Sekumpul Waterfall We like to see waterfalls during our trips, and Sekumpul Waterfall does not disappoint. It is considered one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Bali and the upper waterfall in Asia. You fall in love with cascading streams of 260 feet (80 meters) high and surrounding greenery. To get to the waterfall from the reception kiosk, it is a short 15-20 minute walk along the trail, stairs and crossing the stream. It's not scary or difficult, but it's best to be ready. Relax in the waterfall, swim, and consider visiting fijian waterfalls, which are next door. Sekumpul Falls Entrance Fee: 20,000 IDR ($1.30 USD) Address: Sekumpul, Sawan, Lemukih, Sawan, Buleleng, Bali 81171, Indonesia Take a private excursion to Sekumpul Waterfall. Sekumpul Waterfall is a breathtaking waterfall to visit in Bali! Pura Ulun Danu Beratan Pura Ulun Danu Beratan is a small complex that is absolutely stunning. Lingga Petak Temple is the famous water temple along Lake Bratan and has sacred water. Unfortunately, the temple is not accessible, unlike Tanah Lot. However, you can rent a wooden boat by kayaking around the temple. Pura Ulun Danu Beratan Entrance Fee: 75,000 IDR ($5.20) adults, 50,000 IDR ($3.50) children Address: Danau Beratan, Candikuning, Baturiti, Tabanan Regency, Bali 82191, Indonesia Reserve Ulun Danu Beratan and Jatiluwih Rice Terrace here for a tour. Jatiluwih Rice Terrace bali is known for its endless rice fields. One of the well-known and spectacular rice fields is Jatiluwih Rice Terrace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Tabanan area. Rice fields are huge over 600 hectares. You can easily spend several hours walking through various hiking trails in the area. There are several stops along the footpath, where you can talk to the local, hear the history of the fields and even take pictures with scarecrows. It's best to come when it's vibrant green and clear on the day. During our visit in early July, rice had already been harvested in many areas and farmers burned dry crops to make room for a new harvest. Jatiluwih Rice Terrace Entrance Fee: 40,000 IDR ($2.70 USD) Address: Jalan Jatiluwih No.Desa, Jatiluwih, Penebel, Kabupaten Tabanan, Bali 82152, Indonesia Take a tour and explore Jatiluwih Rice Terrace on an electric bike. Pura Luhur Batukau Despite visiting popular temples, there is something quiet and peaceful about visiting the smaller and intimate, Pura Luhur Batukau. It is a quiet temple on the slopes of Mount Batukaru and is known to protect against evil spirits. We were the only ones here at the end of the day. The best part about this temple is how untouched it is with moss covering the walls of the temple. At the end of the temple complex there is a small lake overlooking the smaller temple in the center of the lake. The lake also has a huge koi fish if you like fish. What a cool and rustic vibe to this place. Pura Luhur Batukau entrance fee: 20,000 IDR ($1.30 USD), includes sarong Address: Jalan Penatahan-Wongayagede, Wongaya Gede, Penebel, Wongaya Gede, Penebel, Kabupaten Tabanan, Bali 85125, Indonesia Smaller temples, such as Pura Luhur Batukau, are great to visit because they are not as crowded. Recommended restaurant in North Bali, tabanan area Bakmi Akai This restaurant has several locations around Bali, such as Denpasar. If carving Chinese-Indonesian food, then come to this place! There are many pasta and rice dishes to choose from. Bakmi Goreng Special Noodle is yummy. Prices are reasonable and great view of the luscious rice rice and even see a welcome sign in the fields. Hot matcha latte is also delicious. Address: Jl. Raya Bedugul, Br. Dinas Taman Panda Desa Batunya Kec. bala0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0 Isn't this a welcome sign from Bakai Akai charming? Bali Route Day 3 - Explore East Bali On this day, we are heading to East Bali to visit local attractions. Much like North Bali, there are not so many crowds on the east side. Here are some recommended things to do in East Bali. Pura Lempuyang You can not visit East Bali without going to Pura Lempuyang! This is one of our favorite temples we visited, especially when you see the views of Mount Agung from the Gate to Heaven during the first temple.
